"Walker needs to mind his own business." Clara and Bucky were walking up the steps of the building. They dropped Zemo off, and Sam decided to stay with Zemo while she and Bucky did one more quick search to see if they could possibly find Karli. They, however, were unable to find them and retreated back to the building.
"Yeah, well that's what happens when..." Clara stopped Bucky from walking up the stairs.
"If you mention Sam giving up the shield one more time..." she raised her eyebrows, waiting for a response, but he instead just kept his mouth shut and kept walking up the stairs. "Anyways, I'm pretty sure Walker is gonna figure out where we are soon, so we better start talking trash about them while we still can." Bucky let out a small laugh and they finally made it to the top of the stairs. Before Bucky opened the door, she grabbed his arm.
"Bucky, when I found Walker today, it was just him and Zemo. And the way Walker talked about the serum...I have a bad feeling." Bucky thought about it. "Something isn't right with Walker, and I think the serum has something to do with it."
"But we saw that all the vials were destroyed, right?" Clara thought back to the glass and blue liquid on the ground.
"Yeah, yeah, your right. I guess Walker just makes me paranoid altogether." Clara gave a small smile and released her grip on his arm. Bucky opened the door and they walked in. She saw Sam sitting at a table with a computer out, and Zemo was resting on the couch with a damp towel on his face and a scotch in hand.
"Ahh, look who's back." Zemo lifted the towel off his face enough for him to see them.
"Something's off with Walker." Bucky pointed what she literally just said in the hall two seconds earlier. Clara went to go sit on the open part of the couch, and Bucky went over to the bar to get himself a drink.
"Yeah no shit." Sam said in a know-it-all kind of way.
"Well, I know crazy when I see one. Because I am crazy." Clara watched as Bucky put down the bottle and took a sip of his drink.
"No, really?" Clara said sarcastically and he rolled his eyes.
"I can't argue with that." Sam added,
Keeping his eyes on his computer."Well, I've seen people do worse." Bucky came back with. "For example, you shouldn't have given him the shield." Clara snapped a look to Bucky, trying to politely tell him to shut his mouth, and Sam angrily slammed his computer shut.
"I didn't give it to him." Sam said for the thousandth time.
"He is fully aware of that Sam, eventually he'll shut his mouth about it."
Clara glared at Bucky, who just shrugged."Well, I am also fully aware that Steve definitely didn't give it to him," Bucky said just loud enough before finishing his drink. The was a loud bang, and Clara looked to the doorway to see that Walker and Hoskins had found them.
"Ughhh, great." Clara moaned and slowly got up from her spot on the couch. "Break time is over. What do you want, Walker?" Zemo took the towel off his face and slowly sat up. Walker pointed his finger directly at him.
"All right. That's it. Let's go. I'm now ordering you to turn him over." Clara walked over to block him from getting any closer, as did Sam. Bucky stayed by the bar.
"We are turning him over alright, but certainly not to you." Clara stared Walker right in the eyes.
"I appreciate that." Zemo said from being her.
