You had just finished packing for your trip to Mystic Falls to see your niece, Hope.

Although the trip is long and even though you could easily vamp speed over there you'd rather be well rested so you can spend more time with her.

Ever since you found out that Klaus was having a baby, you swore to always protect it,no matter what.

So when Klaus died you became even more determined to do so, no matter where on Earth you were you always made a plan to see her at least once every month and this one was no different.

You called Alaric before hand, telling him that you'd be there the following day, which he had no problem with, however you told him to keep it a secret from Hope as you wanted to surprise her.

As soon as you finished packing you made your way to the airport.

After a bit of waiting your flight started boarding and you went ahead. After getting on you searched for your seat and sat down after finding it.

You began to feel slightly tired seeing as you hardly slept the night before, so you decided to take a short nap. You closed your eyes and letting the sleep take over.

You woke up a few hours later not even realizing that you had slept throughout the flight.

'I must've been tired' You told yourself.

You stood up exiting the plane after grabbing you bag from above your head. It felt amazing to stretch your limbs.

The airport wasn't too far from the school, so you'd rather use your enhanced speed now.

You sped over to the school and decided on phoning Alaric to let him know you were here. Soon after the gate opened and you walked into the premises.

When you got closer to the building you saw that Alaric had already been waiting outside. You sent a smile his and he reciprocated the action.

"Hey Ric, how have you been? " You said in an Accent very similar to Niklaus'.

"Hi, Could be better, monsters have been coming left and right for the past week, how's everything on your side been?" He said

"Well other than a few incidents happening, I'd say I'm ok" You replied to him.

You both entered the school, walking towards his office, so you guys can catch up a little bit. He told you about some of the monsters, which fascinated you, only because you've never heard of some of the creatures he was telling you about.

He even told you about Landon and how he was a Phoenix. You were taken back a bit when he told you how they found this out.

Nevertheless it was fun talking to him. It was like getting to know an old friend.

"Well, as fun as talking to you is, I really want to know where my niece is"You said with a slight laugh.

He laughed and replied, "Of course, Hope should be in her room" He said, "or the twins room" He added.

You smiled at him, "Thank you Ric"

After thanking him you left his office, you left your bags in a room. Every month you stayed in that same room.

After unpacking your things you left the room to find Hope. You arrived outside her room, knocking on the door a few times before waiting.

After a few minutes you figured that she was in the twins room, so you turned around and walked toward their room.
