You sat in the library, book in hand, reading through the pages. Most students would only ever pick up a book for assignment purposes but not you, you enjoyed reading.

It was a very underrated form of art and expression that you just lover, it always used the right words that provoked the exact reaction you'd like to think the author was expecting.

You loved how through reading you could escape the cruel reality of everything around you and for ok he just be yourself.

You turned the page of the book and began reading through the words, having the characters accents and looks in your head as you read the book that had you in a trance like state.

Meanwhile on Lizzie's end, she was surrounded by her friends, talking like every other day. They were going on about the latest trends or talking bad about certain teachers they didn't like, even some students were in there, you included.

You were known around the school as a nerd whilst Lizzie and her group were popular.

They some how got onto the topic of making bets, each of them making bets with one another.

Some were stupid and they refused others were ok but the next alone caught her off guard.

"Lizzie, let's make a bet" Hope said and everyone's attention each on them. Lizzie shrugged but nodded anyway.

"Bring it on Mikaelson" She said with a smirk which caused a smirk to also appear on Hope's face.

"Ok, so we all know we have money to play around with so, If you win I'll give you one grand, but if you lose you owe me one grand, ok?" Hope stated and everyone nodded, though shocked by how much Hope was willingly to pay for the a bet.

"Moving on Mikaelson, what is it?" Lizzie said wanting to get to the point.

"You have to date Y/n Y/ln for an entire month" Hope said and Lizzie groaned whilst the rest laughed. "But after the month is over you have to break her heart" Hope added which piqued Lizzie's interest.

"Well that's easy" Lizzie said with a smirk on her face. "This will be the easiest thousand I make, you better have my money ready for when I win Mikaelson" Lizzie said walking off when the hell rang, indicating the end of break.

Everyone parted ways heading to class, lucky for Lizzie, her next class was actually with you, so this would just make everything easier.

When Lizzie arrived you were already sitting there, books open and waiting for the teacher. She walked to the desk beside yours and sat down, which you didn't even notice because you were busy going over a few formulas.

The teacher walked in and immediately started already being late. After class he assigned the homework which most groaned at the fact that they and to do homework.

You on the other hand didn't see it as a punishment but more of extra practice which honestly just helped you understand the work even better.

You decided on doing the homework on your free period in the library, you practically lived there during school hours.

You sat on a chair at a table and began going through the work. Finishing within half an hour before putting the books aside and pulling out the book you were currently reading.

You heard faint footsteps which only got louder, but you ignored it figuring someone was walking pass. The footsteps stopped making everything calm again, you pretended like you didn't notice the person standing in front of you. After a few seconds you spoke.
