You always got glares and nasty comments passed around about you all because of who your family was. They seemed to think that you'd be exactly like them but you weren't.

If you haven't guessed it yet, you're a Malfoy. One of the most high status wizarding families. Everyone thought you shared their values like pure bloods should be the only type of wizard/witch but you didn't and it was much the same with a lot of their other values too.

The worst part is when you finally got a girlfriend everyone assumed that you didn't actually like her and that it was some messed up prank because well like much of your other fellow Malfoys you were sorted into Slytherin and your girlfriend, Luna, was in Ravenclaw.

To be honest anytime a Slytherin dated someone outside of their own house everyone thought it was a prank or because they thought it would funny but that wasn't the case... Some of the time.

You brother Draco had told you endlessly to just break up with her. Everyone at Hogwarts thought Luna was a tad bit odd but you admired that about her.

"There are so many better girls out there for you instead of that weird girl" Draco said following you as you left the common room. You turned to him with your wand out.

"Say that again and I will not hesitate to kill you Draco" You said sternly making him tremble a little.

"And for the last time I don't what another girl, I am perfectly fine with the one I have now." You said drawing you wand back.

He loosened up and slung his arm around you shoulders as you walked the dungeon's dark hallways.

"There are many Slytherin girls who fancy you, you know" He said with a teasing smile. You pushed his arm off your shoulder and stopped your walk.

"I can even name a few if you'd like, there's Pansy for one and-" You cut him off.

"Can't you just be happy for me? It's the Malfoy name that drives everyone else away from me but Luna didn't care about that. Now please I beg of you stop trying to set me up with someone when I'm already taken" You said walking away.

Truly Draco was happy for you, he loved that his older sister finally found someone. He didn't think you would and not because of you as a person well it sort of was but not in a bad way. You just never out yourself first and always tended to everyone else and it got in the way of previous relationships so he was extremely happy that you'd found someone who helped you not only focus on others but yourself too.

The only reason he was pushing this hard for you to get a Slytherin girl was because his father made him. Lucius didn't want his daughter seen with the blonde Ravenclaw girl and it hurt Draco to have to do this but Lucius can be a little tough sometimes.

He sighed as he watched you walked away angry again. He didn't want this anymore, he didn't care if his father would hang him from a tree or kill him in the spot he couldn't take hurting you anymore.

You made your way through the library halls and found Luna trying to reach for a book that was just out of her reach. You smiled instantly when seeing the girl and went over to help her.

You stood behind her and grabbed the book. She turned around to see who it was and smiled when she saw you.

"You know I could've gotten it by myself" She said taking the book from your hands. You scoffed playfully.

"Yeah, really looked like you had it there love" You said, wrapping your arms around her waist after she'd put the book in her bag. She laid her head on your chest and you both just stood there talking and laughing.
