The only way to survive is to break the Chain.
The chain in which Alia is caught right now. Alia- an archaeological student who ended up as the Queen of people's choice.
A normal student with attachment and trust issues, who doesn't give a shit ab...
We decided to do what Azarius exactly told us to. Maybe he might plan his final game play using us as the pawn or he might actually be telling the truth. We never know.
All I wished was for Alia to become alright and wake up. Our other friends have been so worried about yesterday since they heard what happened to her. It has to work. Somehow.
Giatros turned Alia on her left side so that we can see her wound and the fish-skin on her lower back.
It looked nasty.
I couldn't do it, so I gave the pendant to Giatros. He came to my side and inspected Alia's wound before placing the pendant on it. I didn't actually believe it would work, because it's neither a medicine nor a dark object to work-just a simple pendant.
But unexpectedly, it worked.
A strange yellow light emitted from the pendant and made its way inside her body. I could literally see the light travelling under her skin. It got disappeared when her body pushed the pendant out and her fish-skin faded softly.
WHAT THE HELL?
Shanaya and I looked at each other as her skin turned back to its dusky color. I then lifted my piece of upper clothing to see my abs.
They were gone as well.
Shanaya checked hers and the same result.
It was over- our biggest nightmare was over. We were not the fatal ones anymore, but still we have to tell everything to our friends and also ask for forgiveness for the things that happened in here, although we weren't at fault.
"I think she's quite alright now. Her pulse and the body temperature is back to normal. We just have to wait until she wakes up and back on her feet. Thank you for the assistance, My Lord."
He never calls me My Lord.
"Are you okay, Giatros?"
"Yes. I'm perfectly fine."
"If you say so."
And then we left the infirmary and got back to the gardens to talk and join our friends. As you can see, there isn't much entertainment these days. We asked our friends to stay inside the castle for their own safety and so they transformed into the kids that they are.
I told them the entire story from the day one we landed in here with explained everything that's been happening. I know it's the second time I told them, but they still listened to it, as if it was their first time.
Funny fellows.
Rudra and I took a walk away from our group.
"So, how's it here Motherfucker?"
"Oh come on bro, are you kidding me?"
"You don't like here?"
"Actually, I think, I like this place more than I intended to."
What does he mean by that? I wondered.
"Oh, really?"
"Yea... I found someone."
Honestly, I was appalled by his comment but excited at the same time. I didn't know what to say, because I didn't know what he meant by that.
"Found someone as in?"
"As in, I fell in Love- you Dicky Dickerson."
Mahn that was hilarious.
"Wha-Wh-What! What? Sorr-Wh-Wait. You fell in love?"
He paused midway and glared at him with his hands crossed across his chest.
Oh no, he was being serious.
"You mean it, bro?"
"Of course, I mean it dumbass."
I motioned him to join me as we resumed our stroll.
"Who's she?"
"Her name is Alexandra. We met in the castle. She's one of the maids' daughter who works for Alia."
"Dude, are you sure this is love?"
"I'm pretty sure."
I gave a simple nod as we kept walking, drowned in our own thoughts.
