Jungkook entered the café, prepared to greet his Hyung, when he looked up and froze.

In front of him was Taehyung, but with blue hair. Taehyung's new hair color enhanced his already ethereal features. Jungkook took note of the man's sparkling brown eyes, button nose, and pink lips. Each of these features seemed to be accentuated with beauty marks.

Jungkook's stare felt piercing to Taehyung, who was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable with the attention. Taehyung just couldn't figure out what the younger was thinking. Was his new hair color so shocking? Does he have something on his face? Maybe Jungkook was just tired, and zoned out while looking at him. Yeah, that's probably it.

Taehyung decided to initiate conversation. "Umm... Hi Kookie."

Jungkook snapped out of his dazed state. "Oh, uh, hi Hyungie. Wait. Did you just call me a cookie?"

"Not a cookie. Kookie, with a K. It's a nickname! I thought of it because you like my pastries so much. Do you like it?" Taehyung's eyes seemed to be sparkling with excitement and hopefulness. He wore a tentative smile.

Jungkook couldn't possibly say no to that face. "Yeah, it's great, Hyung. Thanks. So you dyed your hair?" Jungkook decided to change the topic from his cutesy new nickname.

Taehyung grinned and nodded. "Yeah, Jiminie and I both did. Do you think it looks okay?"

Jungkook responded. "Yeah, you look amazing, Hyung."

Taehyung said. "Do you really think so?"

"Of course." Jungkook replied. If anything, he was downplaying how good Taehyung looked.

Taehyung smiled at Jungkook. " So what can I getcha today?"

"Banana milk and a black and white cookie please, Hyung." Jungkook replied.

"You got it." Taehyung said. They both went over to Jungkook's usual seat, Taehyung bringing the boy's order.

Then another customer came in, and Taehyung went to serve the girl. As that was happening, Jungkook's phone rang.

By the time Taehyung came back, Jungkook seemed a bit panicked.

"What's wrong, Kookie. You seem stressed." Taehyung questioned.

"I am. I'm supposed to be picking Sanha up from preschool this afternoon, but I just got a call that I might be featured at an art show in town. It's a really good opportunity for me, but they want to meet me at my studio later today." Jungkook sighed.

"You can't find anyone else to pick him up?" Taehyung questioned.

"I don't really have a big social circle." Jungkook admitted. Truthfully he's made more friends in the last week than he's had his whole life.

"Is it the preschool connected with Fantagio Academy?" Taehyung asked.
Jungkook nodded. "Jimin is picking Rocky up from Kindergarten there, and taking him to hang out here for a while afterwards. You can ask him if he could bring Sanha along."

"Really? Can I have his number?" Jungkook asked.
Taehyung handed the other his phone, with Jimin's contact displayed on it.
Jungkook sent himself the information, and saved his own number to his Hyung's phone as well. Taehyung smiled at that after his phone was returned to him.

"Thanks, Hyung. I'm going to go call my Brother to make sure it's okay, and ask Jimin. I'll be back in a few." Jungkook said, going outside.

While Jungkook was outside, Jin came back to the café.

"What's going on, Tae?" Jin asked.

"Jungkook is asking Jimin to watch Sanha, because he has an interview to be featured in an art show, and he has to be at his studio at the time he's supposed to be picking Sanha up from school." Taehyung explained.

"You should ask to come with." Jin said.

"I couldn't possibly. I have work, and I wouldn't want to intrude." Taehyung said.

"I would really like it if you came." Jungkook said, having heard them talking when he was entering, trying to be quiet so he didn't interrupt their conversation.

Taehyung spun around, surprised by Jungkook who he hadn't noticed entering.
"I don't know, Kookie. I'm not good at these sorts of things." Taehyung said.

"Neither am I, but I'd really appreciate some backup." Jungkook replied.

"But what about_" Taehyung's protest was cut off by his brother.
"I will be fine to watch the shop on my own for a day. I did it all the time when you were in college. So go."

Having run out of excuses, Taehyung agreed to go to Jungkook's studio. He might have been totally freaking out about going somewhere alone with his crush, but he'd never tell.

A.N. I've been reading Chinese BL translations lately. A fun time. A lot of them have these little theater bits at the end of their chapters. I might do that every once in a while. Anygay here's some pics and memes.
