Chapter 4

KIME's POV

"WHAT are you doing here?!" I mouthed at him, I looked around our front yard, mukhang tulog na ang nagbabantay sa gate.

My phone beeped, tinignan ko ito at napairap dahil sa nakita kong message ni Tyren. It's from his number.

Unknown number:

Baba ka, may bibigay ako sayo.

I sighed, I glanced at him for a second, he waved his hand, motioning me to go down.

I rolled my eyes. Pumunta ako sa aking closet at naghanap ng hoodie para suotin. I wore a oversized cute hoodie, still with my satin shorts.

Dahan-dahan kong binuksan ang pinto ng aking kwarto, i look around and it was very quiet. Since it's almost midnight, they are all asleep, for sure.

I silently closed the door, went down and opened the front door. Dahan-dahan ko itong sinara, afraid that it may create a loud sound that could wake up my parents or anyone.

I bit my lower lip, lakad takbo akong pumunta sa gate at binuksan ito. I saw the guard move, so I suddenly stopped. Tinignan ko ito muli at nakitang mahimbing itong natutulog.

When I successfully got out, i went to Tyren. He was leaning on his car, may dala siyang supot sa kaniyang kaliwang kamay.

"Why are you here? It's almost midnight, Tyren?!" Inis kong sabi sa kaniya. I crossed my arms ovee my chest.

"Tsk, bibigay ko lang sayo 'to." Binigay nito sa akin ang hawak niyang supot. Tumaas ang kilay ko sa kaniya, bago kinuha ang plastic.

It has a pharmacy brand, tinignan ko ang loob. Mayroon hot compress, gamot for headaches, some white flower oil and vicks.

"Since mukhang madalas ang pag sakit ng ulo mo, use that. But, rest often, don't stress yourself." Anito sa seryosong boses.

Tumingin ako sa kaniya, confusion is written on my face, "Why are you giving me this?" Takang tanong ko.

"I just said it, duh?" Masungit nitong tanong. Gusto ko siyang irapan, nakakairita!

"I mean, i can buy it myself. No need to go here...almost midnight, to give it to me." Nakapameywang kong sabi sa kaniya. He bit his lower lip, i saw a ghost of smile in his lips.

Then, i chuckle came out of his mouth.

"Stop it!" Inis kong sabi sa kaniya. Seriously, ano ba ang trip nito sa buhay?

"Wala ka bang magawa, ha? Umuwi ka na nga!" Sabi ko, tinulak ko siya sa dibdib.

He held my hand on his chest, i felt something electrifying when our hands touched!

"U-umuwi ka na..." mahinang sabi ko, my mind is still on the electrifying thing that just happened. Our eyes met.

"Okay, I'll go now. Sleep, okay?" Anito. Binitawan nitp ang aking kamay at umikot papunta sa driver's seat. He was opening the door, when he spoke,

"Pumasok ka na. I'll wait for you to go inside first." Sinarado niya ang pinto ng kotse, tumango ako at tumalikod.

I went inside, I glanced at Tyren who's still standing there. He waved his hand, telling me to go inside.

Nang makarating ako sa aking kwarto, umupo ako sa kama. What just happened?

He bought me this, because....of what? Was he concerned?

"No way..." umiling ako. No way, Kime! Wala lang yun magawa, kaya ako ang trip niya. Probably, because he saw me collapse earlier, right? So, maybe he thought he can buy me this.

Oo, tama. Ayun lang yon, nothing special! Tinignan ko ang supot na may laman ng mga gamot.

Oh, shit! I forgot to thank him! Agad kong kinuha ang phone ko, i saved his number.

Ex crush kong pangit:

Psst, thank you.

I was biting my lower lip when i hit send. Oh, god! Then, the electrifying thingy popped on my mind.

I know that feeling! You feel it, when you like someone, and you feel nervous towards them.

I like Tyren? No way! That was years ago, i don't like him anymore!

Besides, he rejected me. Once is enough, twice is too much.

Tumango ako sa aking sarili. Tama, lokohin mo lang ang sarili mo, Kime. Pumikit ako nang mariin dahil sa sinabi ng isang bahahi ng utak ko.

"Okay, no. Just don't think about it." Huminga ako nang malalim. Kinuha ko ang supot at tinabi sa aking drawer ang mga gamot doon.

Kinuha ko ang white flower, I smelled it, and i felt relax! Oh, gosh. This is heaven.

Nakapikit ako habang inaamoy ko ang white flower, when my phone beeped. Nilapag ko sa aking kama ang bote ng white flower at kinuha ang phone kong nasa side table.

Ex crush kong pangit:

Welcome.

Umirap ako. I typed another message for him.

Ako:

Umuwi ka na agad, baka kunin ka ng mga manananggal.

I waited for a few minutes before he replied. Kumunot ang noo ko dahil nag send siya sa akin ng picture.

I giggled when i saw the picture.

Okay, fine! He's really handsome!

He sent me a picture of him, mukha at onting parte ng kaniyang dibdib ang nakikita, he was topless!

He's seriously looking at the camera, ang silver na kwintas ay kumikinang pa kahit madalim ang background.

Ako:

Pangit.

But, that's the opposite of what i was just thinking! I'm literally praising every detail of this photo. Even the lighting!

Gosh, Kime. I can't believe you.

Ex crush kong pangit:

So, you like ugly guys?

I scrunched my nose. Humilig ako sa headboard ng kama at nagsimulang mag type ng reply kay Tyren.

Ako:

Bakit? Gusto ba kita?

I send it with a smiling face emoji, he immediately replied to my message, which made me roll my eyes.

Ex crush kong pangit:

Oo, you announced it infront of my batch mates.

My brows furrowed. Talagang hindi siya maka move on, ano? Talagang pinapaalala niya sa akin yun, everytime we meet!

Ako:

Move on ka na, tol. Baka maging crush mo rin ako niyan, sige ka.

I was smiling when i sent that. We both know I'm joking. Him, Tyren? Magugustuhan ako? Never!

Baka nga piliin niya pang maging gorilla kesa magustuhan ako.

Ex crush kong pangit:

Gusto ko na nga, eh.
