Chapter 1

AKO si Kime Cruz, having strict parents, pinagkait sa akin ang pagiging normal na teenager.

They pressured me, until i had enough. And with his help, I pursued my dreams, and i was consciously falling in love with a guy i hate the most.

KIME's POV

CRYING, i left the park, with my hands on my face. My ex-boyfriend just broke up with me. The reason? He felt out of love.

I don't believe that, because if you truly love someone, you won't just 'fell out of love'. We were happy, kanina lang, parehas pa kaming nagtatawanan, but then, he suddenly broke up with me!

He's my first boyfriend, all right? I'm still new to this word 'love'. Nakikita ko sa mga kaibigan ko, lalo na kay Tasy at Macsimo, i can see love in their eyes.

So, I thought i love France, because i was feeling butterflies around him. But no, it wasn't love. It was just...infatuation.

Suminghap ako at agad umuwi sa bahay, it's been a week since my ex broke up with me, and he got a new girlfriend.

"Kime, huwag mong isipin..." bulong ko sa sarili ko. I sighed, just thinking of him makes my blood boil. Oh, he just admitted that he was just there for the 'chase'.

"I had fun chasing you, Kime. I loved you, i just...fell out of love." Anito. Umiling ako dahil naisip ko na naman iyon. I shouldn't think about that, especially I'm home, and my parents are here.

"Good afternoon, Mom, Dad." Bumati ako sa kanila, they were both reading something, and they just noticed me when i greeted them.

Agad tumaas ang kilay ng aking ina, "You just turned 18, Kime. Mukhang nasisiyahan ka na ata umuwi ng ganito kagabi." Anito sa striktong tono.

I sighed, here we go again.

"We had practice, po. Medyo malapit na po kasi ang competition, so our practice will take longer than usual." Sabi ko sa mahinahon na tono.

"Why did you even join that? It's waste of time, Kime. You should focus on your studies." I clenched my jaw, stopping myself from answering my Mom's whims.

"I'll study na po, Excuse me and goodnight." Tumango ako sa kanila at nag tungo sa aking kwarto.

My parents are strict, since I'm their only child. I hang out with my friends, whenever they are not around, in business meetings, to be specific.

"Gosh, hindi ko ma gets..." frustrated kong hinilot ang ulo ko, mukhang kailangan ko na naman magpa turo kay Tasy at Alexia tungkol dito.

I wanted STEM, but my parents got angry and enrolled me to ABM. They wanted me to manage their company, but I don't want that!

Gusto ko maging doktor, hindi maging CEO. But, studying ABM will help me in the future, I guess? Because I'm planning to build a small clinic, sa isang probinsya.

Particularly, malapit sa dagat. I always dream about living beside the ocean. Because it relaxes me.

It sucks, dahil minsan lang ako maka punta sa beach, sa kadahilanan hindi naman pala vacation ang trip ng mga magulang ko.

I wanted to go with my friends, okay. But, they won't allow me! They even told that if I continue to ask them for me to go to the beach with my friends, they'll cut them off my life.

I scoffed, that's how they work.

I bit my lower lip, tinignan ko ang orasan at nakitang maghahating gabi na. Agad akong tumayo at humiga sa kama ko. I checked my phone kung may message sa akin.

My brows furrowed, when i something. Agad kong binuksan ang notification na iyon.

I scoffed, mukhang ako ang trip nitong bwisit na 'to, ah? Smirking, inistalk ko ang account niya. My mouth parted when i saw his bio.

Stalker ka na pala.

I rolled my eyes, napaka jejemon ng bio! Dahil lagi niya akong iniinis, hindi ko siya finollow back.

Tyren, that old guy. He's not that old, but definitely older than me. He's studying Medicine, ayun lang ata ang gusto ko sa kaniya, the rest? Wala!

Tumaas ang kilay ko ng makita ang dm niya sa akin sa request, i long press it and it showed me his message.

Huwag ka magpanggap, follow back me, little brat.

My mouth gap, agad kong sineen ang message niya at nagtipa.

Napaka desisyon mo naman, matanda!

Nakita ko ang mabilis nitong pag seen sa akin. Wow, mukhang hinihintay ako mag reply, ah? Smirking, i typed another message.

Ang bilis mag seen, ganiyan talaga pag crush ako, eh. ;p

I laughed when I sent that. Nagtipa si Tyren, inexit ko sa conversation namin at nag scroll muna.

When i saw him reply, agad kong pinindot iyon. I bit my lower lip when i saw his reply.

Kapal. Why can't you follow me back, huh? Baka nga masayahan ka pa dahil magiging updated ka sa akin.

I gasped in disbelief before typing my reply, how thick face! Grabe na talaga siya ngayon, mas lalo na kumakapal ang mukha.

Ulol, kapal mo naman. You followed me first, tanders! Stop being assuming, masama yan.

Smiling in victory, i closed my phone at niligay iyon sa side table. Smiling, I closed my eyes.

I realized something, this is the first time i smiled genuinely after France and I broke up. That Tyren really made me smile, huh?

Oh, god. That came out wrong for me. He can't make me smile! Inis at galit lang ang kaya niyang ibigay sa akin, hindi ngiti!

Ngiti nang tagumpay dahil sa pang-aasar, tanggap ko pa. Yes, i just like, oh wait, no, love, yes i love teasing him.

His angry face always makes my day. I hate his guts, and vice versa.

Nakatulog ako sa pag-iisip, and when i woke up and did my morning routine, i went downstairs. Agad akong nag taka dahil wala ang magulang ko.

"Ate, asan po sila Mom?" Tanong ko sa isang kasambahay, "hindi po ba nasabi sainyo, Ma'am? Umalis po sila papuntang spain," anito. Tumango ako, that's not new.

Well, I'm kinda free!

I went out of the house, and was about to go inside the car when i saw someone, waving at me with his annoying smirk.

"Hello, sweetheart." Tyren said as he waved at me.

I raised my middle finger at him, "Fuck off, Tyren!"
