Chapter 63: More Secrets Revealed: Luffy and Cavendish vs Don Chinjao

"How's old Garp doing these days," Don Chinjao asked, "tell me, Luffy."

"Hey, you mean you know my grandpa," Luffy asked looking up at him.

"YOU!" Cavendish exclaimed in rage.

Luffy's face changed into that of shock the moment he knew his cover was blown. Meanwhile Kira could only watch in horror knowing that she was both shocked but at the same time she was in utter annoyance over him blowing his own cover when there were countless pirates and other warriors who would know about Luffy's bounty and would want to claim it. 

"Know him? Sure, years ago, he nearly killed me," Don Chinjao replied, "and now I carry that grudge against him, his children and his grandchildren."

"Damn, talk about a huge grudge against someone from long ago," Kira commented to Lula watching the conversation.

"He knows of Garp as well," Lula asked with wide eyes covering her mouth.

"It would appear so, then again, we'll have to keep watch on him to see what he might do to either Luffy or his crew," Kira stated.

"Understood," Lula nodded.

The silence in the hall was unbearable at most. Kira and Lula were in shock over what Don Chinjao mentioned about his battle with Garp, Luffy was in disbelief that he knew his grandfather while Cavendish looked enraged over knowing that Lucy was in fact Luffy this entire time!

"Back in the old days way before your time," Don Chinjao began, "Garp was considered the devil incarnate to all pirates. They say time heals all wounds but decades have passed and my pain still remains."

"Kira, what does he mean by the devil incarnate to all pirates," Lula asked Kira whispering in her ear.

"They say he is a hero of the Marines because of the many feats and accomplishments he's done during his service as a Marine," Kira explained, "though I can see why from when..."

Kira began to remember the day of Ace's execution when Garp was present and the anger she felt. The betrayal of standing by the Marines to see someone whom he raised alongside Luffy, Sabo, Lula and her. All the painful memories of that horrific day was flooding back into her mind as she tried to bring herself back into reality. All the while, Don Chinjao was rubbing his head for a bit as he paused for a brief second. Suddenly, Cavendish got into position preparing to draw his sword.

"Speak up," Cavendish commanded, "is all that true?!"

"No of course not," Luffy denied keeping up with the façade as Lucy, "I didn't hear him right! My name is definitely Lucy!"

"Then why did you answer when he called you Luffy," Cavendish asked in a more demanding tone.

The air was getting tense as Luffy was backing away with Cavendish ready to draw his sword. Kira and Lula watched to see what was going to happen next as Kira felt the need to protect her little brother. For some reason, she had to but she didn't want to cause any chaos as far as she was concerned.

"Seeing as you are Garp's grandson, I'm afraid you're gonna have to pay for his sins," Don Chinjao pointed out.

"Take it up with Grandpa why don't cha," Luffy barked back.

"Hold on, so you two are related," Cavendish said.

"I call everyone grandpa," Luffy denied once more.

"You truly are the notorious Straw Hat Luffy," Cavendish stated, "I'll cut you down where you stand!"

Kira's eyes turned sharp as she was ready to summon her wings and attack Cavendish. Fortunately Lula grabbed Kira by her arm stopping her before she could land an assault on him.
