Chapter 59: Cavendish

As the fights for Block A were starting to wind down, Kira and Lula were looking through the dressing room to find costumes to wear for their matches. Kira went in to change and came out wearing a revealing silver armored halter top that showed off her cleavage and navel, silver armored mini skirt to match and she kept her black heeled boots. Lula didn't know how to feel about her captain's new outfit but knew if it was to conceal their identities while battling to obtain the Flame Flame Fruit then it was the only way. 

"Well," Kira smirked, "does it say badass gladiator or what?"

"It suits you well Kira," Lula nodded sheepishly.

"By the way, I found an outfit especially for you too!"

Kira presented Lula's outfit for her to wear to which Lula's response was she began to blush profusely over how in her eyes it looked hideous to her. It consisted of a gold strapless bikini top and a short red skirt with a gold belt. Lula was in utter shock over how her temporary outfit looked. Kira could only smile as she presented it to Lula.

"Kira," Lula stuttered, "what is that?"

"What do you mean what is that," Kira laughed, "this is your outfit you'll be fighting in."

"Are you serious Kira?! I can't be seen wearing that!!!"

"And why not? Come on Lula, live a little...can't be innocent forever. I get that you don't like showing yourself off but think of it this way, if we are to get the Flame-Flame Fruit, we need to keep our covers hidden, meaning with the world knowing about us and our crew, we got no other choice. So, you can either wear this outfit and keep your identity secret while fighting for Ace's devil fruit or don't and be an easier target for those who are hunting us down like the World Government..."

Lula looked away for a second over Kira's comment. She couldn't argue back with Kira. She did make a valid point. Lula bowed her head down in defeat as she took the outfit and went into the dressing room to change. After a few minutes, Lula came out wearing her temporary outfit blushing heavily over how embarrassing it was to her. Most of the men were staring at Kira and Lula completely infatuated with the two over how beautiful they looked even with their new outfits which of course greatly annoyed Kira. 

As they waited for their turn to take part in the tournament, Kira noticed Luffy from a distance. She really wanted to speak with him but knew she didn't want to have his or her covers blown which greatly annoyed her. She noticed a strange character approaching her which threw her off due to how he presented himself.

He was a fairly tall man who was considered to be very attractive by his appearance. He had bright sky blue eyes, a lean yet muscular body and long, flowing blond hair that reached just past his shoulders. His attire consisted of a black cowboy hat with a large aqua blue colored plume, ruffled white v-neck shirt under a coat draped over his shoulders, dark purple trousers that had a thin white stripe on the sides and end in a ruffle just below a pale yellow and aqua blue star on each knee. In the manga the stripes are orange. He also donned brown high-heeled boots that had bronze buckles attached by dark purple straps just above each ankle. On his left side, he carried his sword. He approached Kira and Lula with a confident smile on his face and rose in hand as he presented it to them.

"Hello beautiful ladies," the young man flirted, "what are a couple of fair roses like you doing here knowing you would be easily hurt? Why don't I, Cavendish, fight your battles for you?"

Just then the group of gladiator women began to swoon and sign in the presence of Cavendish which confused both Kira and Lula. Lula looked at the rose confused over the gesture as Kira stared at it then at the blonde haired man with a look of annoyance.
