(Adrinna POV)
You idiot! You could've gotten her killed!" Said my brother, Jay, usually calm but in a life death situation, that's when stuff gets real."It's not that big of a deal! You're the one who could've stopped me any way!" Said the Idiot, Fujin, who had managed to drop the exploding arrow, and the bow.
"You're blaming me for this! I told you it was a bad idea for about thirty minutes straight! You're seriously that absent minded!" Wow, that's a new shade of red for Jay's face.
"Jay, she didn't die and that's what is important. Granted Fujin was a total idiot, no need to kill him. Layoff." Daelynn, the female StarGazer of this little group, spoke up. She then proceeded to smacking Fujin upside the head for idiotical behavior. Philoso, the male and younger of the two star gazers, chuckled at this.
"Please Jay, please. This world is dangerous enough without you killing Fujin." I finally got a one sentence in an argument.
"Yeah! Back off, you didn't say a thing, and it maded me feel more smart like." I swear one day Fujin's IQ of a tater tot is going to get him killed.
"Fujin, you are a complete baka." Daelynn commented, using wording Fujin definitely wouldn't be able to understand.
"Daelynn, that's the nicest thing you ever said to me, even though I don't know what a 'Baka' is." Fujin retorted. I wish I could tell him what it meant.
It was then, I noticed a group of Jagers. "Uh, guys. I think we should run now." I spoke up, pointing towards a wall of Jager guards.
"Run, run, now!" screamed Jay. I obeyed, grabbed Daelynn's hand and ran as fast as possible. I listened to the running stop when Jay called upon his dragon. I paused, called on mine, and climbed onto its back, reaching down to help Daelynn up. Jay's dragon took off and we followed the boys to the air.
"Halt, runners! If you don't stop now, we will have to use brutal force!" Yelled one of the guards. My dragon roared in response and continued flying upwards. Once high enough up, we all started to fly away. We eventually landed back at our 'base' of operations.
"Jay, I'm kinda hungry, can we eat?" I tried to take his attention off of the fact we nearly got caught, and possibly killed.
"Yeah. Who's cooking?" Now that he turned I saw he was sweaty and tired.
"O! O! I'll cook!" Fujin shouted.
"No!" We all shouted, that idea had to be immediately shot down.
"I'll do it." Daelynn agreed, but wasn't that enthusiastic.
"I will help you, Daelynn." Philoso followed her into the kitchen and started to make drinks.
"This whole mess could've been prevented if we had that teleport powder." Fujin complained.
"No, it could've been avoided if you hadn't dropped the exploding arrow! And besides, that stuff's expensive." Jay retorted.
"And I don't know how to make it." Added Lynn while stirring the soup. Wow, something Lynn doesn't know. She poured chopped chives into the soup. Lynn is what we call Daelynn most of the time.
"Fujin, get bowls, cups, and spoons and set the table." Commanded Jay. He was sitting at the table, his head was against the wall, with his eyes shut, he ran around a lot today, I'm sure he's exhausted.
"Sure." Fujin obeyed. Once the bowls were set out, I helped Daelynn carry the soup over and pour it. Philoso went around and filled cups. We all ate in silence, and once done Daelynn and I cleaned up and headed to our room.
"Good night, Jay." I said before going into the room with Lynn. We talked for a while then shut off the light and fell asleep.
