(Adiva POV)

I sighed, laying, reading a book on my bed above Ceridwen's bed, who was currently off conversing the note and what to do with the two other 'leaders' Daelynn and Jay. I was worried about my younger brother, Philoso, but at the same time I knew he was alive. Giving up on the book, I called to the mocking jay Philoso had sent. Settling myself at the shared desk in the girl's bedroom, I wrote up a return note to him, then took the bird to the window, gave it the note, and sent it off. Settling back on my bed, I wrote in my diary a bit.

"Three months, nineteen days of living in Yugure and not much has changed. Ceridwen is still pretending to be a Jager, and Fujin is still annoying. This morning, though, my younger brother Philoso disappeared. A few hours ago we received a message from him, saying not to worry. That idiot, of course I'm going to worry. Oh well, as Daelynn would say, bakas will be bakas.

I should probably tell you about the room, as I neglected to do so. Well, I have the bed above Wen, along the east wall of the medium sized bedroom. Adrinna and Lynn have the ones across from us on the west wall. Cait and Silver have the north ones, across from the door from the girls' sitting room. Within the sitting room there are chairs, a center table, and a couple couches. On its east wall is the door to our bathroom, south wall is the door to the hallway, and west is a passage to the stables, where my stallion, Laxus, is kept along with Amber Cait's Pegasus, and Artie, Jay's horse. That door remains locked, both at the stables and at the sitting room, since the guys can get to it at the stables. Lynn set a magic pass code on it, it can detect if the speaker is female or not, and can tell which of us it is. Well, I better go to sleep. Goodnight, dairy."

I closed my diary, wrapped the steel thread around it, which also ties it to Wen's. I set the system up using information my mother taught me. So long as both dairies have the string around them, we can share our thoughts with each other. Hiding the diary, I blew out the lantern by my bed and made my way out of the room, towards the stable. Speaking the pass code,

"Shōnen-tachi wa, shinrai shite wa ikemasen.", which took all of us forever to learn. Lynn spent time with the teachers of that language so she knew it. I headed to Laxus's stall, taking the lightning stallion out of the stall. My village had stolen him from a Coursingstreak's village, which I am not proud of. Philoso had brought him with when he came to Yugure during a battle.

Philoso is stargazer, which I didn't understand until my mother explained. She had married a stargazer, which means I am half Stargazer as well. Anyways. I mounted up and rode out the stable. I soon stopped meeting Lynn.

"You're not going out to look for Philoso, are you?" She asked.

"No, I am not. I'm just going out for a ride." I replied. The area around us was lit up thanks to Laxus's mane. Lynn nodded and I rode on.
