(Silver POV)
"Hey, Silver." My friend said.
"What?" I replied.
"You know the other people we found yesterday?" She asked.
"Yes." I replied. She pointed down, I looked sure enough they were there.
"Send Blue." She said. I nodded.
"Come here, Blue." My falcon came.
"Scout, boy." I whispered, he started to glide. A few seconds later We heard the loudest, lowest, most blood curdling scream... Blue made a "friend".
"Fujin! Don't just stand there! You idiot, help me!" Yelled the oldest boy.
"You call me an idiot, but at least a blue falcon isn't trying to rip my face off." A younger boy said. I could tell Cait was trying her best to not laugh. It was funny, very, very funny. And mean... We hid two very thick trees. I closed my fist, calling off Blue. He ditched trying to 'make friends' and perched on a tree. The oldest boy, who Blue attacked was laying down breathing heavily.
"Nyetha..." I flinched as a small branch broke as I put my foot on it.
"Who's there!?" The older boy yelled. He walked around towards the trees. I quickly got on a branch.
"WHO ARE YOU!?" He screamed at the top of his lungs. Cait silently pulled out her sword. I hugged the tree.
"I don't wanna be captured, I don't wanna die, sixteen years is not enough! Please, just let me go!" I thought to myself repeatedly.
I saw a Lynx walking around and tensed up even more. I have a small fear of lynxes I don't tell anyone about.
"I'll get the bird!" Yelled a Jager girl with brown hair with green streaks. She pulled out a bow and arrow.
I wasn't worried about Blue, he flys quickly, the problem was, Cait was behind Blue. She let go of the arrow right when Blue flew off, and it barely missed Cait, however the arrow had startled Cait, causing her to fall out of the tree and onto the ground.
The eldest boy, a Drache, looked at her, and sighed "Look, we don't have a Triche with us." He announced.
I watched as Cait put away her sword and tried to walk away. Other people and lynxes surrounded her.
"However, I don't think we can let you go without answering a few questions." He stated. I noticed a young fire horse walking around, too. He was awfully close to the tree I was in.
"I don't need to answer anything." I heard Cait say, when I felt two hands grab forearm and yank me down.
I felt hands cover my mouth and sit me up right. I struggled as a sword barely touched my nose. It was held by a young male Stargazer about thirteen. I felt the person let go of me. It was a male Jager, probably fourteen. The Jager clumsily readied a bow and arrow.
"What's your name?" The Stargazer asked. I was silent for at least three minutes. He cleared his throat.
"Your name, now." He demanded.
"Ifr..." I mumbled.
"What?" He asked again.
"Come on, she's probably terrified! It's best you just either put away your dang sword or go over there." Said a female... I couldn't tell her origin. She looked to be about fifteen.
"Yeah, it's obvious she's scared, we just need to use that fear to get answers."
"Philoso, Fujin, go, now!" She ordered.
"Gah... It runs in the family..." Said the young Stargazer as he and the Jager walked away.
"I'm Ceridwen. This is Yugure," she gestured to every one and pointed out their names. While helping me up.
"And you are?" She asked.
"S-Silver... And that's Cait..." I said quietly.
"Hmm. Not your advrage Triche name." A female stargazer, Daelynn. said as a few lynxes followed her. She was right, I'm not much like what a Triche would look like. My hair isn't blonde, like most, and my parents named me Silver, a metal, what you would expect for a Ritter. I'm not too graceful, either. However, my eyes are a brilliant sky blue, the common trait amoung the Triches. My eyes and wings are probably the most colorful things about me. Even my hair has streaks of dark grey.
"I wouldn't imagine you have a place to go or stay. Do you wish to stay with us?" Daelynn asked. Obviously referring to the war, and the fact that the Ritters are taking the Triches captive.
"Well... I-I don't, know..." I said quietly. I didn't want to, for all I knew, one wrong move and they could sell me or kill me.
"Oh come on! We don't mind! We can protect you! It's no big deal! You'll have fun with us. You wouldn't have to worry about the war anymore." The black haired girl, Adrinna, had tried to persuade me while yanking at my left arm.
"We don't mind." Daelynn said."Yeah! I'll hug you, and squeeze you. and call you Trichey!" Said the female Jager, Adiva, as she tried to squeeze me to death that was, according to her, a hug.
"Adiva? What sort of ridiculous name is Trichey?" Said Daelynn.
"But I could never take advantage of-" I started to say.
"They accepted Adiva. I think we can accept two girls who obviously are not that much trouble." Said Ceridwen looking at Daelynn. Giving her a sort of 'are-you-happy-now' face.
"Well... I guess so..." I said in barely a whisper.
"Then it's settled, you'll stay with us." Said Ceridwen once more. The four walked off. The lynxes insisted on winding around my legs... is it wrong to strike a living thing with a solid, inch-thick staff, if you're pretty sure it wants to eat your foot? Because if it's wrong, I was far from correct. I poked them when they to close. I probably looked pale from being scared, I'm such child, I just have to be afraid of the 'big bad lynxes'. Cait and Jay were actually having a civilized conversation. I looked at Blue who was slightly pecking at Fujin's leg. Fujin bent down to pet him.
"You're my favorite." Said Fujin petting him. Apparently Fujin is not fond of Jay? I felt fur against on my leg and kicked a gray lynx out of fear. No one really noticed.
