(Ceridwen's POV)
I trekked through the wooded forest after my best friend, Adiva. "So, can you tell me a bit about your siblings? So that I know who we are looking for." The slightly younger Jager spoke up, as we came upon a clearing to rest."One is a young boy, possibly fourteen. The other a girl around fifteen, same as me. The girl is my twin, according to the records, while the boy is slightly similar to us. I don't know their names exactly, but I know one starts with 'F' and the other 'D'." I replied, while dropping my bag and starting to set up the tent. Adiva dropped her bag and helped me out.
"Do you remember anything about their personalities?" Asked Adiva.
"Yeah, I remember that the boy is an idiot, and that the girl is very smart." I replied.
"How do you know they are alive?" She asked.
"Siblings intuition. Let's set up the lights and sleep bags, then get fire wood." I replied, brushing my hands off.
"It's always 'sibling intuition' with you." I heard her mumble.
"What was that? Remember I saved your life. Give me a little leniency." I said. She made a face, I swear, I can never take her seriously when she makes that face. I layed out my sleeping bag and helped her unroll hers.
"You set up the fire ring and tonight's food. I'll go get fire wood." I said, walking off towards the woods. I heard her grumble and sighed, scanning the woods for suitable firewood. I gathered a bit and headed back, dropping them next to the fire ring.
"Hey, about your brother, is he uhh... Good... Looking?" Asked Adiva, she blushed.
"How would I know, I haven't seen him for what, hmm...ever." I retorted, but still smiled at her curiosity, and blushing.
"How did you guys get separated anyway?"
"I believe we were all Star Gazers at one point. My 'mother' said that I was stolen by other groups. She also said that she got word of my brother being stolen as well."
"And you tell me this now, rather than the, what was it, 17 times I asked you this before?"
"Oh lay off, girly. Let's eat." I held up the food I had been cooking over our fire, which Adiva had lit. She made the face again, and I shoved a paper plate of food at her.
"Oooo, my favorite." She exclaimed and dug in. I ate slower and then threw my plate in the fire. I crawled into my sleeping bag and waited for her to finish.
"You know what I like and what I hate. It's like you're psychic." She threw her plate into the fire, and climbed in her sleeping bag.
"Well I'm not. You know I just so happen to have been around you long enough to figure this stuff out. By the way, you should eat slower or your gonna get a stomach ache." I letchered slightly.
"Oh, so you're a doctor now? Did you go to medical school in the last hour?" Adiva can get impatient at times.
"For your information, I spent my entire life around people who were doctors or other. Time for bed, we have another day of traveling ahead." I snapped back and turned off the light.
"Good night." Her voice was reluctant.
"And no sneaking off tonight!" I said, sitting up, turning on the light for a few seconds to zip the tent and locked it with my padlock. I hid the key then turned off the light, laying back down. By then Adiva was fast asleep.
The next morning I awoke before Adiva awoke. I unlocked the tent, walked out, stretched, then went to get more firewood. We had to stay till the dew left and until Adiva awoke. Once she woke up, I had a good fire going, and had gotten breakfast ready.
"Good morning, Miss Doctor." Adiva said after a yawn. We sat down to eat, then packed up. We sat around the fire, waiting for the dew to dry up before moving on, when we heard the sounds of footfall. We immediately put out the fire, and ran for cover. Hiding behind a tree we watched as two young girls, and three boys stepped into the clearing.
"I was sure I saw smoke." The older boy said.
"And look, look, ashes!" One of the smaller boys yelled pointing to the place where our fire had been. The other simply looked around.
"For once something smart from your mouth." Said the tallest girl.
"Yes, it does look like people have been here. The grass is flattened down." The smaller of the two girls, and also the one who looked smarter.
"Who are they?" Adiva whispered, I shushed her, and made a shrug.
It was obvious they had more than one drache with them, and when the tall boy held up his hand and summoned a tiger, I knew we would be found. The silver colored tiger sniffed around then headed towards our tree. I stepped out and said, "Stop the tiger! We mean no harm, just passing through." Adiva stepped out next to me.
