Hello, Peasants...

(Ritter King Xavier's POV)

"Sai! Get up!" I yelled. He was already late for training and he needs it more than anything at this point. He walked out and leaned against the wall.

"What?" He asked.

"You're late for training!" I answered.

"You said I had the day off." He replied, I did indeed make a deal that if he found any Triches over the course of yesterday, he could take today off. He didn't find any.

"You, didn't earn it! You haven't been getting many Triches lately, therefore you need extra training." I explained.

"Whatever, King Kelly." He said throwing on a shirt.

"And you will call me by my proper name!" I yelled. He turned around a bowed.

"Your Highness." He said.

"Better. I'll send breakfast up for you as you get ready." I said leaving the room. I left to the kitchen to request a meal.

"Your highness." Greeted one of the cooks.

"See to it that each of the trainees gets breakfast." I ordered.

"Yes."

"Have you served the queen yet?" I asked.

"No, I'll send someone-"

"Don't waste your time, I'll do it." I stated. She nodded, handed a tray to me, and did a curtsy.

I walked over to Tila's cell. Many people call her the 'captive queen' and to an extent she is. She refuses to marry me and let me claim the sky kingdom. She isn't fond of me, she'd said before she would rather die than love me. Sure my methods of getting her to stay do involve captivity. But really she can only blame herself for not trusting me.

I stopped at the door and opened it.

"Tila?" I greeted. She was asleep. I walked over to her bed and set down the tray. She had a pretty face. I rubbed her cheek. Her eyes gently fluttered open. She looked at me half awake.

"Hi sweetie." I said kneeling down.

"Go away." She said sitting up.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked.

"No." She replied.

"You were sleeping soundly when I walked in." I stated.

"I was?" She asked sarcastically.

"Why won't you cheer up?" I asked.

"Hmm, I don't know. Maybe because you take my people against their will and refuse to let them go!" She said angrily.

"Well maybe if you accept my proposal, I'd let them go."

"Stop playing dumb. We all know you just want a bigger population and more territory!"

"For the better of both our kingdoms!"

"What good could you possibly bring to us!?"

"Look, just eat and think about it." I said. Pointing to the tray of shredded potatoes and eggs.

"How do I know you haven't drugged it?" She asked. A few times I did use a love potion in her food. I stopped for a while because she figured it out and wouldn't eat at all. Eventually she passed out because she was starving herself, and in the end, she still only eats small amounts of food.

"I've already told you, I stopped using the potion in your food!" I yelled. "Why can't you ever trust me?" I asked.

"You've lied to me almost everyday I've been here." She answered. I grabbed her by the arms and forced her toward me.

"Listen here, I have the perfect future for our kingdoms and you are throwing it away by the minute. If you don't start listening to me, I'll have you executed!" I said sternly.

"You will? Great!" She said smirking, I threw her down on her bed. I walked out the door and locked it.

I then left to the training grounds where Sai was waiting patiently for my arrival.

"Are you absolutely sure you didn't find anything interesting Yesterday?" I asked. He took a bite of an apple he probably stole from the orchard.

"Eh, it might interest you." He replied with a smirk. I slapped the apple in his hand away.

"Tell me!" I ordered.

"I know where we can get a Kler." He stated.
