(New Girl Silica's POV)
"So basically, my best bet is to go into Jager territory, and we all know why I can't." Philoso said finishing his little report.
I smiled and nodded pretending to understand what the heck he said. He was nice, funny, and VERY cute, but, a little too smart. I'm pretty sure he just started to rant to me, but who can tell?
"You have no idea what I just said, do you?" He asked smirking.
"No, no I-I did. I just... Uhh." I stuttered. He laughed.
"You know, I like that you simply pretend that you get what I say." He stated leaning back on the armrest on the couch. I blushed and looked away.
I've been settling in and trying to get on everyone's good side. Although I'm not sure everyone here has a good side. Particularly Jay.
I guess to get on his so called- "good side" you have to be perfect. Daelynn's a little nag-y, Ceridwen is a little shy, but not as shy as Silver. Silver gets along with everyone, but she's so shy, you can tell she's silently begging for the conversation to stop. Fujin's not too intelligent, Adrinna, and Adiva are nice and fun. Cait is a lot like Adrinna and Adiva, but she's a little more mature, and slightly more serious.
I heard a knock on the door.
"Silica? Didn't Jay want to meet you to discuss a few things?" Asked Ceridwen.
"Oh! Right! What time is it!?" I asked heading out the door.
"Almost ten." She said.
"Ooohhh." I groaned running out the door. I headed to the stables and out the main entrance and ran into forest. I stopped, I forgot the cloak they made me where when ever I left the base.
"I'm going to be late!" I said to myself running back and grabbing it. I realized it was Silver's by the time I was half way there.
"Oh, by the unity of the Triches-!" I yelled.
"It's Silver. She'll understand." I said to myself and started to sprint. I reached Jay with three seconds to spare.
"Barely made it." He said as I leaned against a tree to catch my breath. His tiger walked over to me.
"But I did." I said as soon as I caught my breath.
"Silica, Please be more prepared in the future." He demanded.
"Yes sir." I said panted.
"Now then. I need to ask you a few questions." Said Jay. I nodded.
"Where you ever taken by the Ritters, at any point in time?" He asked.
"Yes. When they first started they took me and my family, they had me for three months." I explained.
"How did you get out?" He asked again.
"I'm not exactly sure, but from what I heard, there was this man, who put together some sort of potion or something, made a vapor from it, was able to knock out the guard, pick the lock and the people in that cell, including me, were able to get out unnoticed." I said.
"I see, you had no active part in this?" He said again.
"No sir, this took place in the middle of the night, I was asleep." I explained.
"How many people where in the cell with you?" He asked more curiously.
"The cell was made for around six people, but they shoved like, thirteen of us in there." I explained.
"How often did they feed you?"
"Twice a day, breakfast, which was the food that went bad, or the food that was over cooked. In the evening they gave us the bread that also gone bad or burnt."
"What about water?"
"We got as much water as we needed. We just had to ask."
"Were you aloud to have Pepper?" My kitten, Pepper, was a little rainbow neon kitten.
"Yes, most people were aloud to have their pets, unless they were rtoo big. Or a distraction." I explained.
"Did the cells have bathrooms?"
"Yes, larger cells had two."
"Was it just Triches with you?"
"There was one Boilinglock member, but I'm not entirely sure about the others, my first day there, they separated me from my family."
"Ok." He said summoning his tiger back to its braclet form. "Come on, let's go." He said heading toward the base.
"Yes sir." I said walking next to him. He and Dealynn were the most mature. He was more serious, though. He was twenty, the same age as king Xavier.
"Silica?" He spoke up.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Did you need something?"
"No, why?"
"You're looking at me."
"Oh, uh- I- uh, no I wasn't!"
"Huh, yeah..." He chuckled and smirked.
"You CAN smile!" I said jokingly. I looked at me and gave me an angry look.
"Remind me to limit your time with Philoso, he seems to be influencing you too much." He said walking slightly faster. I laughed.
