Unexpected meeting

"little miss, you'll be late for your first day please wake up!" A gentle warm shook enough to be mistaken for a mothers touch as you slowly opened your eyes immediately recognizing the maid from yesterday. your eyes widened in realization and jolted out of bed startling her "sh*t I'll be late on my first day" You quickly washed up and changed then ate breakfast and went into the car the driver was already waiting for you "Mister chauffeur please hurry I'm late for my first day!" He nodded stepping on the gas and off to school, you barely had time and could even meet Tetsuo. Once you arrived it was earlier than expected. You wore your backpack and ran to your classroom coincidentally catching up with your teacher who was just about to walk in "Oh!-hello, you must be the new transfer student... y/n shinju correct?" A bright smile came from her lips surprised by your arrival, you studied her features slowly nodding  "yes, are you my sensei?" She nodded gesturing you to walk in with her "yes, you may address me as Kobayashi sensei now come in...Y/n introduce yourself to your classmates" You nodded and walked in behind her the sliding door opening caught the kids attention as you both walked in. You stood in the middle and did a slight bow

you had long h/c hair which you had down and tucked behind your ears, your e/c eyes were round and big with a glistening glow. You seemed smaller than an average kid your age but what's the problem with that "hello everyone I'm okuda y/n please take care of me" you took a good stare at the whole class but one caught your eyes which caused you to smile  "wow she's very pretty" a cute girl with short dark hair stood up with a cheerful smile "let's be her friend guys" a chubby boy whispered to the other boy next to him "yah she might be lonely since it's her first day in here"

later on the class went on smoothly "Gosh it's so boring don't tell me I need to study everything once again" Class just ended and it's already lunchtime. You looked around trying to find your way in the busy cafeteria just to meet eyes with 3 curious children surrounding you  "hello y/n do you want to eat with us?" As much as they were eager you were equally lost for words. Kids are really bold with what they want and your confused about that matter "yah you can also come with us to the park after school" You smiled at them trying to act like one of them. You pursed your lips as you fiddled with your hand
"then, can I call you by your first names too?" They looked at each other and laughed "of course you can! let's go eat" You sat down listing to them chatting with no worries oh to be a kid again~

a while later school time is over and your already heading out to wait for your chauffeur to pick you up  "hey y/n wait up! do you not want to go with us to the park today" ayumi ran towards you waving her hands. You focused your attention at them then stopped at your track. This time there are two more kids other than three. You looked at ayumi as she smiled brightly at you hugging you arm introducing you to them "this is Conan and ai-Chan they're also in our friend group by the way we are also known as the detective group" you chuckled nodding them realized the name she said and let out a small gasp at the crazy coincidence "mmm~?! you're that boy with the same name of the author who wrote Sherlock Holmes aren't you!" Conan's face brightened up as he stepped closer looking excited  "you know conan Doyle?! what's your favorite book?" He's not even asking for your name or anything. Just straight up to the question. You held out your index finger smirking
" -a study in scarlet- it's  where dr.John Watson meets Sherlock for the very first time" you nodded to yourself as if your fully confirming your choice 

"I know...! why didn't you join our detective group" genta exclaimed in anticipation for your answer "thanks you genta but I need to go home today I'll join you next time...it was an interesting talk Conan and it's nice to meet you too haibara bye~bye" Your chauffeur has already arrived. You stepped into the car and waved goodbye as he drove back home "she must be rich for her to have a chauffeur" haibara got closer to Conan frowning as if she's suspecting you "Edogawa, I don't have a good feeling about this new girl "she tugged onto Conan's shirt. Conan turned to face her lost in words. He stared at your car as it went out of sight

Meanwhile you were relaxing in the backseat of the car "can't wait to go back and sleep~" a moment of silence in  relaxation before your phone started ringing. It's obvious who's calling since the only one who would call you with this phone is Tetsuo "so how was your first day y/n" you let out a hum thinking of a response a kid would answer with  "it's was cool~ I enjoyed it and made lots of friends and one of them was that kid- uhh I mean boy with the foreign name" you nervously chuckled almost breaking out of character  "good to see that your happy now hurry home there is a good meal waiting for you" in no time you already reached back home and ran up to the front door. You stomped all the way to Tetsuo and pounced on him hugging him as tightly as your little body can "I missed you father!" With an irritated smile you were trying to squeeze him to death He leaned down smiling when you gestured him to come closer "the audacity to hide from me. I think I found a a goose that lays golden eggs" He stopped slightly stunned by your words. A sudden smile creeped his lips leaning down to carry you inside "I can see you will not be telling me what is it right?...just how did you discover something eye catching  on your first day"

"It's only in this school that's why" He let you down so you could walked back to your room. You had your gaze fixated on the floor deep in thoughts. Once you reached your room you dropped your bag on your chair then walked to your closet
"Conan is quite weird if I'd tell myself he didn't seem like a child nor did the girl next to him" You changed your clothes and laid down on your bed and let out a sigh "I really want to drink~" you sat up  and went out of your room heading towards the door when you coincidentally met Tetsuo who's already in the living room "Dad? I'm heading out to take a breather...I won't be taking long" he nodded and went back to his paperwork . You walked out since he agreed and went to a nearby convenience store
You walked up to the part timer behind the desk and got on your tippy toes trying to see "excuse me miss! can you tell me where to find the candy isle?" The worker was in awe over your cuteness while pointing at the isle in the right end. You thanked her walking towards it

you walked toward the shelf looking down at your shoes while walking in deep thoughts when you accidentally bumped into someone and fell back " !...sorry, I wasn't looking where I was...going" You looked upwards as your face went colour-less shocked it is an abnormal coincidence  to meet him here. A small smile creeped his lips as he he bend down and reached his hands towards you "...it's fine here let me help you up kid" He carried you helping you up. Right before he was about to place you on the floor his gaze slightly widened revealing his green snake like iris fixated at you for a few seconds "How is she!—" you tapped his arm because you were still up hanging in the air. You slightly tilted your head as your long silver hair fluttered. he realized what's he doing and placed you on the ground while you dusted your clothes completely unaware
"thank you, mister" You grabbed the candy you wanted and left immediately after buying it still feeling his sharp gaze at you "I should move far away from them" there was an empty playground making you walk towards it and sat on the swing pondering while eating your candy
"was that akai or a doppelgänger of him?...well, i don't care since I'm a child now not an FBI agent" in no time you got bored of the swing and decided to take a walk until you met a familiar kid "y/n!what a coincidence your here why don't you walk with us " ayumi ran up to you and pinched hugging you making you loose your balance "well~ I can't refuse a cute girl two times now can I?~" You smiled noticing them following you since entering the convenience store You didn't bother looking cause they were kids with pure intentions

"Haha just like how I first met them. guys it's getting late so why don't we meet up right here tomorrow since it will be a weekend" The kids pouted since they just convinced you into agreeing with them "well since I didn't stay much how about I walk with you guys till we reach each of your houses then I can call my chauffeur to take me if you think I will be going back alone" you clasped your hands together closing one eye as an apologetic gesture
"that's a great idea y/n" Each of them walked back home the only one left were Conan haibara and you. It was a very quiet and peaceful walk. A while later all of youy almost reached haibara's place until you stopped and glanced at both of them
