"guys, keep walking someone is tailing us... enter haibara's house without looking back" they both froze and slowly turned around lightly. They both were before you in a few steps, once you were about to catch up to them you felt a hand grabbing ahold of your shoulders "hello little girl why don't you come with uncle? I'm a good friend of your dad" a middle aged shabby looking man approached you with an eerie smile. Who would buy such lies but where's the fun in that  "do you think we would believe y—" you gasped placed both hands on your cheeks
"ahh~yes, I know you! you're uncle unkotare right?" You smiled as you tilted your head while he shook in anger but went with your act since he thought you're just a kid

Jay: unkotare is referring to calling a person poop-face in Japanese 👀👌

He gritted his teeth as his eyes slightly widened, he leaned down gazing at you with an abnormally wide grin "S-since you know this uncle why don't you come and bring your friends along with you?" you giggled looking up at the man acting all innocent then a slowly dropped the smile with your head hanging low
"no, they need to leave since it's very late why don't we go together...uncle~" You looked back neither of them showed fear but they were anxious since it's an obvious kidnap "since I got what I needed...it's useless to act. Hey uncle! why don't we finish this up right now" They all looked at you in astonishment making the man get agitated and charge towards you
"shit! y/n watch out!!" You kicked his shin with no he's making him trip down. Midway of falling you kicked him in the chin causing him to reach out for his chin in pain groaning "listen, old man I don't have time for your shit so either you get up and fight like a real man or scram out of my face" Before he could attack you Conan shot him with a tranquilizer dart from his wristwatch

"who are you y/n!?" You looked over your shoulder seeing them both astounded
" well I wasn't really going to hide it from these two anyways. you could say I'm a special case just like you two" you agreeably nodded to yourself. their eyes widened as they glanced at each other then back to you  "you mean you were drugged?!"you shook your head causing even more confusion  "close enough... by the way you two aren't actually children if I'm not wrong?"

"Not quite for me...no wait! h-how did you know that?" the realization on his face made you unable to keep a straight face
"I'm not a person you should underestimate, kiddo~but you get an A for the effort... I have a wild guess about hers, she reminds me of a person I used to know when I was an adult"
They looked at you still unable to utter a word "but I'm no threat to you guys nor to the police I'm just a threat to the organization" you pouted your lips and shrugged in all honesty. Haibara took a few steps back in slight fear "w-who do you think I am?" For a serious looking lady, she's quite the scary cat but you won't blame her. You raised your hand gesturing them to Dr.agasa's house
"why don't we talk inside since it's not safe out here" Conan nodded turning around to make his way in with both you and haibara behind him. "professor, this is y/n a very important lead" you bowed introducing yourself . Your eyes studying the professor's features as they slightly changed to one's of astonishment "wait!... conan, explain what do you mean by that?" haibara did not trust you not one bit. She was clearly petrified by the immense pressure you're hiding

You pointed at Conan with a small smirk plastered on your face "Your real identity is kudo shinchi son of the famous writer kudo yusako and the actress yukiko" The professor looks at you clearly surprised and confused  "wait how do you know about that?!" You playfully shrugged at the professor "Just by observing me for a day" Conan explained with a shiver going down his spine  "I'm willing to cooperate with you as long as you agree" you clasped your hands together nodding to yourself. Conan was taken aback by your behavior and cleared his throat trying to understand what you want "agree...to what?" His eyes twitched at your playful energy  "Of course with whatever info you have on them...and don't worry, in exchange I'll help you as well" your sharp gaze piercing through his as they slowly trailed to haibara. She pursed her lips and took a step closer with her fierce gaze at you "why do you think we'll trust you?" You looked at her then stopped smiling. She's so hard headed it's starting to get in your hair  "You see...I and akemi were close friends...actually, more like a sister to me and she spoke to me about her little sister and showed me picture so—" before you could continue haibara grabbed your shoulders in an agitated way. It's obvious she of scared then hostile "what y-you know akemi!!?" You nodded pulling her hand off you and lowered your gaze

"You're probably sherry? akemi talked a lot about you" She looked at you in absolute fright still unable to believe it
"...I'd rather convince you in a different way...this specific subjects rubs salt on my wound....it's getting late and I'm leaving" you sighted with a frown walking to the door. You might look like a cold person but some people aren't to be spoken off, especially ones who were once you considered family, akemi shouldn't be used as an excuse "wait!! who is akemi?" Conan grabbed your shoulders stopping you, you looked over your shoulders with a deep expression. "Like I said an old friend of mine. and i thought of joining your group to help, one more person is fine right?" He stopped then smiled, the light reflecting on his glasses giving him a cool vibe, your gaze trailed back to haibara to see if she has calmed down, her lips slightly parted as if she had a whole convo in her mind but couldn't utter a word "S-stop! there are still some questions you didn't answer—!" Conan stopped haibara cutting her off, she's still anxious after hearing about her sister
"we only need to know she's on our side no need to act like that" You walked out entering your car since you called for your chauffeur to this location, you sat down and rested your head back on the seat smiling widely "what a big smile you have there~ did you have fun with your friends?" Your breath hitched in surprise not noticing Tetsuo next to you "Heh~looks like father enjoys snooping into his daughters business"

"oh come on. I only wanted to tag along since I was worried about you coming back late" you let out a soft groan in annoyance gently pinching the bridge of your nose to ease your migraine just remembering something "... I met akai in the convenience store" you were as shocked as he was. Akai isn't someone anyone would wanna mess with, his sharp mind is as sharp as his cold piercing gaze
"That's not good what happened you noticed anything weird?!" Tetsuo turned fully facing you knowing this is a slight serious manner. You nonchalantly shrugged "nothing happened I just bumped into him while walking and he helped me get up but his face...when he saw me..." quietness suddenly filled the air as you seemed lost in deep thoughts, you had a frown plastered on your face as if you're thinking really hard about something. Tetsuo must've caught up on the situation then leaned back on the cat seat sighting "could it be that— no wait that's actually can be possible we just need proof" he spoke in such riddled words but since you're both on the same topic you understood what he meant and nodded "I also thought of that possibility...you...you're not the only one" you pursed your lips knowing the consequences as he shook his head looking puzzled  "it's impossible...it's supposed to be only me since l have special blood runs through me to help the cursed one which is you" you nodded lowering your gaze falling deep in thoughts once again

There must be something off, if akai knew...just how? And why him? He doesn't have any blood relation with Tetsuo, there is something missing...or you're just not seeing the big picture  "my biological grandfather's house might have something about another person remembering me even after getting reincarnated like a book about our family's linage history or something" tetsuo frowned shaking his head immediately disagreeing
"but are you okay going back there? you know how dangerous especially since you went back in time and as a child"  nothing will go your way if you wait and sit down so the best course is to take actions
"well I know a route where you can enter and exit without anyone noticing" Tetsuo helped you out of the car as you both walked into the house
"what are the chances of you succeeding?" You know he will keep on nagging about it. You're aware how dangerous it is but what's there to ignore when you can find the answer   "about 40 percent...its the best I can do in this small body" a worried expression formed in Tetsuo's face. the tensed air making you feel slightly guilty

"...even if I say no you'd go there regardless" You nodded in determination as he sighted in defeat. You've made up your mind and it's a serious matter that you cannot avoid not ignore
"I'll be going there after hanging out with the kids since I promised"
"I just got a call from Jodie she's asking about you saying you suddenly went missing...I lied and told her your on a mission out for long" you're already feeling guilty about lying to everyone. There are many things you're hiding deeply in your heart not knowing how to express them. Not when you're a kid
"well even if I die I'll probably return to my original form... so it's alright I won't be staying long in this body since I'll be going to that mad house" you chuckled to yourself looking all gloomy "y/n, don't belittle yourself just because you'll live again! your life is precious and you should live it well to find what you need" You felt ashamed since you got Tetsuo in a bad mood "What I need..." in a short while you finally reached back home and immediately headed to your bedroom to ponder about what you're gonna do
