"there's no way satoko is alive!"

"oi actually, it might be the murderer from 15 years ago..." your ears twitched in interest as your eyes trailed towards their conversation "hey, tell me more about that story don't you want to hear it as well Conan" Then she glanced at you winking with a smirk "I would like to hear it as well...if you may" you smiled back at her as tamami set the Desserts on the table
"it happened 15 years ago, there was a homicide at another rent villa near this one. The victim was an office worker he secretly went to a rental villa with his mistress and his wife barged in with Knife
By the time the police heard the noise and got there the entire room was a sea of blood. The wife stabbed her husband over and over until her white coat turned bright red....Thy called her the red woman" Both ran and sonoko freaked out while you processed eating your ice cream 
"d-did they catch the red woman?"

"unfortunately no, She ran into the forest and still on the run" ninda continued where she left off "3years later we came to this rental villa during high school summer vacation. Our other club members satoko claimed seeing the red woman. So we decided to go looking for her in the forest. While we were searching we lost satoko since it was getting dark we called the police and had them looking for her"

"they found her 1week later. They discovered her body sunken deep into a quicksand and covered in mud. They found her body because of her shoes were beside the swamp. The knife used in other murder was found there too. Everyone thought.... That satoko was chased by The red woman and fell into the swamp" Everyone went silent for a few seconds it felt really awkwardly depressing "d-do you want sera to catch the red woman?" Sonoko shook in fear holding onto ran, you placed your cup of water on the table assertively with a glare, how dare they tru to put her in danger "what? N-no That's the police's job. Even after we graduated we came here every year on the day satoko's body was found but about 2years ago strange things are happening. A window was broken and there were tons of apples rolling around inside a room. We couldn't get hot water then found out that the water heater was stuffed with red rose petals. Once we even had to paint a red splash that was on the door"

"apparently the owner of the villa painted the rest of the door red"

"well their probably pranks so we decided to ask the sharp sera to determine the culprit" Masumi smiled while crossing her arms, tamami smiled frightened by your glares trying to reassure you "I see...I got the big picture now we need to solve the mystery surrounding the red woman." You stood there thinking about the case, a loud slam on the table came from sera as she stood up in determination "okaayy I'll be going to search the forest" conan jumped after her without hesitation following him ran. you got up looking for Conan and sera who left so you went on your own searching for them and investigating at the same time "I feel the strong sense of betrayal, they should have waited for me. I'll just look around myself. maybe I'll meet that red woman" you walked around the woods just looking around, the sounds of the wind rustling through the leaves making an eerie sound, cold light breeze stinging your cheeks making them redden as you walked down aimlessly around the woods "I wonder who sent me that threat...it was kinda unimpressive. Hmm?! What that?" You walked towards one of the tree's to see someone standing on the other side with long hair and a red raincoat

"Oh! are you that red woman? Well wait up I'm coming for you!" You ran towards her excitedly, she stayed still without changing expression but slightly taken aback, you pulled out your phone and managed to take a picture making her look away making a run for it "Oi wait! Don't go running away!!" She managed to escape l your grasp as You stopped catching your breath, since you got a lead you decided to give up on the mysterious red woman, the sun was setting already and you met up with Conan and Masumi while on the way back to the villa "Oh y/n you're here? Why are you alone it could be dangerous if you met the red woman" sera explained in a serious yet jokingly tone, you stopped then lowered your head with a small smile "Actually...I did meet her..." you stared blankly at them as they stood with their mouth hanging wide open, they both got close pressuring you to speak with details "What! When!? Where?! How?!" You calmed them down then started explaining

"You see...I was walking around aimlessly until I saw her behind a tree staring with a eyes wide open so...I took a picture then she started running I tried catching up but I was out of breath she really was a bit slippery like a ghost, hahaha" they both stared in astonishment unable to utter a word, not only you met the red woman,  you even tried catching her "We'll do you wanna see the photo?" They hurried to your side as you pulled out your phone
"...see that's her a moment before running away" they pulled the phone away trying to closely examine the picture, it was slightly blurry since you were running while talking the photo "Shall I send it to both of you?—" your phone started going off making them stop in silence once again "Oh someone is calling me?" You took the phone away to see shuichi's name
"Please give me a moment to answer the phone..." you walked a bit farther as sera stared at you silently "Oh y/n how are you? How is the investigating going?"

"I'm doing fine everything is moving slow and I think I met the murderer...but I did mange to take a picture to convince the rest" he laughed as you waited confused of why he was laughing "I bet you scared that suspect away" you rolled your eyes
"As a matter of fact I just made a big step closer to solving the case with full seriousness" he chuckled before ending the call "Y/n let's return now it's getting late" as you all reached back to the villa you saw ninda getting the shopping bags so you helped carry some "welcome back, oh you're all back together" tamami greeted you all while holding onto a soup spoon, she looked like she was cooking this whole time "we looked around the forest but found not one single clue... but y/n did manage to help" she sighted in disappointment as tamami smiled brightly clapping her hands together "well that's enough for today i made my specialty for dinner tonight" Conan started looking around then back at tamami "hey, where is ran-neechan and the other?"

"they said they'd take. A bath since their done cleaning they should be in the bathroom with sumika" You all suddenly hear sumika screaming voice Both Conan and Masumi ran while you followed them to see the bath filled with tomatoes
"where is hakuya-San" both you and conan stood near the door, you sighted as to nothing but a mere prank made your heart jump "come to think of it I haven't seen him since after lunch ninda is hakuya there" your eyes widened in fear, your colour dropped realizing something making  you run to the bathtube"sh*t don't tell me!" Masumi opened the lid and Conan peaked inside,  she was trying to fish something out then gasped as some of the  Tomato's fell on the floor rolling, she pulled her hand out of the water revealing  someone's head it was hakuya, the frightening sight made both ran and  sonoko scream in horror

-a while later-

"how does it look?" Detective Uehara yui arrived after you called and is currently investigating "yes ma'am. The victim is masaie hakuya, 28 years old..." the police held out his note clearing his throat "does that blood in the bathroom belong to the victim" he shook his head then pointed at Conan "no it belongs to the little boy visiting the villa"

"you...Conan what's wrong? Is your nose bleeding" you side glanced conan waiting for his response, you knew exactly why he had that nose bleed and honestly it was amusing to see him in an awkward situation "yah I was thocked when I thaw the 'orpse" He scratched his head awkwardly smiling as sonoko placed a suspicious stare "hah are you sure you didn't get excited when you saw ran naked?" You smirked at him as uehara coughed to grab your attention
"and you are...?" Uehara raised a brow waiting for your answer, you crossed your arms regrettably "I should've used my fake identity. I'm okuda y/n" she gasped making You smiled while placing your finger on your lips gesturing her to remain silent

"Ahem!! The victim died from a blunt object hitting the back of his head...."
While the investigation kept going each said we're they were at the time after lunch "I was alone in the woods" They all looked astonished from your response, it was a perfect way of openly admitting that you're the murderer, conan popped out of nowhere laughing nervously "y/n everyone will misunderstand if you say it that way! she was investigating when we met her on the way as well" you shrugged leaning on the wall not bothering "I don't know the victim and have nothing against him so why would I?" Uehara nodded after Conan cleared your suspection
"since you have an alibi then..." a loud slam on the ground came from sumika who shrieked in horror "it-it has to be the red woman!"
