"I hope you had a goodnight rest mrs.okiya" She said while taking a sip of her morning tea,  you glanced at Kichiro with a gaze of utter disgust then back at naomi "...just like a baby" you smiled at naomi knowing how much of a hard time you had trying to sleep because of that perverted old man "glad to hear that, now what will be your plan today?" You cleared your throat straightening your posture "I'll be going down the mountain to fetch an important item I forgot it won't be long since I know the way I'll be back at 6pm approximately" You got up then smiled at shuichi and Keiichi before going out, your sharp gaze slowly wandered across theirs indicating what's on your mind, you grinned whispering under your breath "act 1...starts now" you walked across the empty hallway in hopes to find Naomi's personal maid

-Flashback-

"can we really trust that kid, y/n?" Shuichi relaxed back on the wall crossing his arms doubting your decision, he didn't know why did you trust and willingly invested that much for a normal middle school boy
"As I said before...he's on our side or at least with what he thinks is right" you softly smiled turning your saddened eyes away from him then took a deep breath, you lightly pursed your lips and turned looking at shuichi in determination "I see...no one would have thought that" you nodded walking up to shuichi then held his hands gently squeezing onto them, shuichi had a guess about what you were about to say, he knew everything you did was for a reason so he decided to trust in your decision this time as well "I somehow pity that kid... he reminds me of myself when I was stuck back at that house..." you chuckled with a frown the bitterness you felt at that moment could be seen. it was really hard to forget and move on when you lived repeatedly in a hellhole, suddenly you felt hands gently caressing your cheeks, your gaze trailed up to shuichi who had a gentle expression, even without saying a single word you felt his comforting reach you with warmth

"where is that maid?" Naomi walked angrily towards the butler ordering him to go find her, she anxiously walked back and fourth in her room waiting for her maid to appear, just where did she go at this crucial moment, a sudden knock on the door made her jump breaking her train of thoughts, the door opened as a familiar looking person walked in "You-!what took you so long, aimi? where were you?" You elegantly bowed down with a smile on your face, fixing those fake glasses hiding your sharp gaze, she seems to have not recognized you and that was a relief  "my apology, madam. I was doing my morning work schedule you gave me" instead you were looking around the mansion to find any clues even the tiniest hint would be sufficient, making up excuses was an easy thing to do but blaming that excuse on someone else was down right funny to you

"I see... go get me a set of clothes as usual"
It seems you have successfully confused her even though she didn't order you to do so, she must be anxious to get tricked into it that easily, You nodded walking to the closet and got out a set of clothes of your taste that's suitable for an middle aged woman like Naomi "oh my~your fashion sense is getting better aimi what changed you?" She was surprised and pleased to see that you've come to such a drastic change, it's as if your fashion senses have been enlightened or something "thank you for the praise madam, I've been paying attention to the latest fashion" you bowed down smiling at Naomi, she's quite the strict lady befitting the mistress of a household and you respect that "now help me get changed then let's go to the library like the usual" You nodded walking towards her then after a while you both walked out to the family's private library, it's family members restricted, which means a mere maid can't enter or dream of taking a peak, yet you walked in just easily looking around the luxurious vintage library, truly a masterpiece to behold

"oh my~ a private library and a mere maid like aimi would enter just so easily? how amusing~master has been suspicious of where you are around this time...he said that he came in here and did not find you in the library" her expression darkened as she bit onto her nail nervously "don't tell me he knows something. It's doesn't matter let's go" her eyes darted to a certain area for a second then back to you "Good thing she got scared and looked at the secret entrance if not I'll be exposed...what a weird candle holder no screws in it" You smirk turning it sideways as the secret entrance opens, she walked in as you did after her
"let's finish faster than usual, we can't keep our guests waiting" She handed you a file with a mocking tone, quite the smart woman to take both you and shuichi into account in her plan, and it's a good thing you had your mirror which is a camera
