"I think it was somewhere around here—uwhhaa!!" A familiar shout came from straight ahead " What was that! it sounded like a child" You ran to see Masumi sera grabbing ahold of Conan whom is hanging on the edge of a small cliff with a swamp underneath him "Oh! Conan, you're here as well" You walked up to them to see their surprised looks, of course you didn't want to come over in the first place but with Conan and the rest you knew it would be exciting "y-y/n what are you doing here?" You stopped remembering your actual objective, you smiled pulling out a letter from your pocket "oh yes I've got an unknown letter saying I should solve this case it also comes with a cute little threat" You smiled at them innocently shoving it back in your pocket, sera stared at you for a few seconds getting a suspicious vibe from you

"...akai" your heart skipped a beat making you, Conan and sera turn around to where sonoko was pointing, with the same still expression on her face she frowned questioning if what she saw was actually true "ran wasn't there a woman wearing red behind that tree" Ran nodded while you looked around scanning the whole area surrounding you, everyone has gone quiet. an eerie breeze blown through your silver locks making you even more invested in the case "Okuda-San, can I check out the letter for a second?" Your phone started ringing as sera asked, you quickly handed her the letter turning away "here you go, I need to take this call first" you got into an empty space standing beside a tree "Hey shuichi..." sera's ears perked up then turned to Conan, she tapped his shoulders getting close enough to whisper "huh!! oi, Conan. who is that woman?" You we're immersed in the conversation forgetting about your surroundings

"by any chance are you in XXX location"  you we're checking out your nails holding them up in the air letting out a hum "yah, I got a threat letter yesterday telling me to go solve the case or else...sounds kinda..."

"and are you alone? you know it could be dangerous" the concerns in his voice made you picture him with his usual frowning with an annoyed expression, you'd never had though he'd be such a worry wart "I know, you can trust me! and I'm not alone Conan, ran are with me also Masumi sera and Suzuki sonoko. Ran's classmate"

"ehh who is she talking to" both conan and sera got interested in your conversation after hearing you mention their names

"ma-masumi sera!?" Shuichi sounded surprised yet in a positive voice, which confirmed something you've been sort of wondering about "yes she has your eyes! I kind took a guess who she is, don't worry I won't tell" you placed a finger on your lips smirking, you heard shuichi laughing from the other end of the call "Both of you stay safe...and, tell Conan and sera not to stick his nose on other peoples business too much" You turn around to see sera and Conan sticking their ears to your phone, to think shuichi would've guessed right about both Conan and his sister was unbearably hilarious "that's a familiar voice. ahahah- Conan I think ran called us let's go" cold sweat ran down her cheeks after locking eyes with yours, she felt as if you've seen through her lies and what's hidden, feeling slightly alarmed she pulled Conan running away to ran

Jay: for those who didn't get it akai means red in Japanese so when sonoko saw the woman wearing red she said akai catching the attention of the three duo

"sure bye, babe" You smile ending the call before catching up with the rest  "wow such a cute villa, except why is the door bright red" We stayed looking at the villa for a few seconds until a woman greeted your group "hello I'm tamami minegishi, umm which of you is sera's sister?" Sera walked up with a toothy grin "I'm his sister Masumi and these are my classmates Suzuki sonoko and mouri ran and this is y/n" They both greeted while you just nodded your head, it wasn't of your nature but your were deep in thoughts on trying to remember the face of sera's brother "and this little kid is under ran's family care, edogawa conan. he's an even sharper detective than me" tamami's face brightened up looking at Conan as if he's a cute little innocent child, well it's not that he's not he's just extra snoopy "ehhh such a great thing for a kid! Conan is amazing" He smiled awkwardly in politeness for tamami

"anyways, about the request we took some photographs and documented of strange things happening in the villa, sumika said she'd have them printed and bring them here— Oh there she is" There came a woman with two low pigtails She walked towards sera and pulled out an envelope
"here you go please do your best, Bye"
Sera looked confused at here cold attitude not that she really cared "oh my, sorry sumika is usually like this when meeting new people please don't mind her" the sounds of footsteps came from behind making your ears subconsciously react
"huh Sera's high school detective sister really came" You turn around to see two men walking towards tamami "oh ninda and hakuya you came together" a man with a squared face and tall the other was shorter than him and chubby "n-no we ran into each other in the woods so we walked the rest of the way together" the chubby guy stuttered rubbing his nape
bashfully "he said he got stuck in the swamp, he was changing in the middle of the forest, man you're clumsy as ever" the tall guy laughed exposing the chubby guy "oi don't tell them!!"

"haha! too bad though. I was looking forward to having a high school girl visit, but she brought her boyfriend with her"
They all looked super confused then looked at you as you laughed "why are you laughing??" Sera confusingly asked looking at you, the tall guy raised his hand super confused by the situation "we heard sera's younger sister was coming with her friends" Masumi got ticked by these stupid comment, no girl would ever want to be seen as a guy let alone mistaken for one "I see that's why she was laughing. I AM his younger sister Masumi sera!" Both men gasped the same time, the fact that they didn't try to hide the fact that they're shocked and didn't apologize made you glare daggers at them "w-hat?!! You're a girl I thought you were a—" you clicked your tongue staring coldly, no one was allowed to bully or insult your sister in law you've been set to take care of her and that wasn't acceptable but sera brushed it of  "hey mister what's inside that bag your carrying" Conan walked towards one of the men pointing at his bag "oh its a bat I use it to drive them off"

"there are bears!!" Sonoko panicked while holding onto ran, you crossed your arms grinning "If there were bears we would've seen claw marks on the trees or paw prints" they calmed down convinced with your reasonable analysis "As this lady said this isn't a bear territory, I just use it to drive them off" He laughed nervously, both you and Conan stared at tamami who looked awfully concerned "wow this food tastes good! the hamburger taste delicious" you complimented tamami making her blush thanking you "ahh~yes who is this pretty sister right here?" He looked at you smirking a slight of blush covering his cheeks, his eyes locked into yours "oh this is okuda y/n a good friend of Conan and ran right?" They both nodded looking at you "it's nice to meet you all" you slightly bowed smiling, you're making it obvious that you're not interested "man she is pretty right...oh yah are you a foreigner

Your Japanese is very good" He whispers to hakuya then went on asking you directly what's on his mind "I should've worn a mask or something, it's a bit complicated but both of my parents are Japanese" you continued eating minding your own business "by the way why did you come here together?" She said while wiping conan's cheeks, you raised a brow at Conan then smirked looking away "it's our high school outdoor club we used to go mountain climbing and camping together"

"yah it was fun we had only 5 members though" you stopped realizing something bad as ran clasped her hand together smiling, you tired to stop her but it was too late for she has already spoke "really! then the woman in red that we saw in the forest is your fifth right?" They all stopped in shock tamami dropped the tray of glass water on the floor, silence filled the air as the sound of water pouring out of the glass "w-where have you seen her?!"  tamami's face went pale, you knew that she definitely knows something related to the case "in the forest with sonoko..." sonoko nodded her head confirming
"she was wearing red raincoat and red boots she was a long haired woman dressed in red from head to toe"

"no way! I-it can't be!"  Everyone went panicking in a matter of seconds
