"I'll skip to the main idea... things are vanishing from our house, at first it was small items but with time it's getting more frequent that we started suspecting a culprit behind all this" you glanced at shuichi then back to them focusing on every single detail they're mentioning, you pulled out a small notepad and pen to write down anything peculiar "when did it start? and what are the items that disappeared?""Well one of them were my favorite book and my sons headphones as well as my husband's favorite violin bow and other similar stuff" you let out an amused hum writing down on the note "do you play the violin?" You gazed at mr.yoshimoto "I do play it, it's my fathers so it might not be expensive but it's a treasure to me"An excited smile spread across your cheeks as you stood up closing your notepad, you clapped your hands together looking at them"now may I get your permission to walk around the mansion to freely investigate the locations of the disappearing items?" They nodded not understanding what's on your mind, as soon as you walked out of the tea room someone crashed into you and fell back on the floor "oufff!!...Sorry mrs.okiya" you looked down to see who was reckless enough to run around to see a young boy who's around a high schoolers age
"Keiichi! how dare you bump into mrs.okiya apologize sincerely right now!" the fat pig yelled at his son for a trivial mistake making you feel irritated, Keiichi looked scared and upset as Naomi tried to calm her husband down "what a dog, this little boy...he's just like a sad puppy. it's fine, I think I might need this boy may I borrow him?" He stopped and nodded forgetting about everything and instead he just pulled you by your skirt making you smile "I'm sorry mrs.okiya but what do you need me for?" The boy had fluffy long black hair and was as tall as you are, his eyes were slightly pulled back yet round sparkling with hope when meeting you "...to hear your side of the story, kid" you beamed with joy gazing at him with a gentle smile, you kinda pitied him "Then shall we enter my room first?" You nodded walking in and sat on the desk's chair as shuichi stood next to you facing Keiichi
"I don't know if I'm supposed to say this but both my parent are right" He tightened his grip on his cellphone asking for your number you understood as you gesturing him the number with your fingers
Keiichi: they're watching & listening to us from the camera in my room
You glanced at shuichi then back at Keiichi, held his phone placing it between his thighs with the camera to his back to avoid suspicion
Keiichi: both my parents are everything to me, the least I could do is see their smile so please help them find the lost items. my dad comes back late everyday he seems to be hiding something from mother and my mom is always in an awful mood
Y/n: such ideal parent you have there, they deserve a praise, I'll do my best to help you and your parents. was there anything abnormal going with your parents especially your mom?
Keiichi: yes, I can't bare to watch them get unhappy or at the least bit worried they mean so much to me...well I once saw my mom holding her lost book right after she said it disappeared then entered the kitchen. No one enters the kitchen unless you're a servant
You closed your phone then looked Keiichi and at shuichi "I see both adult and child say the same thing, too bad I couldnt progress more than that" you turned at shuichi completely upset about Keiichi's situation "just how could they treat their child as a hostage. Kid, lead the way to the other rooms" You investigated the other rooms then went back to meet both parents "so how did it go did you find anything?"
"unfortunately no we will continue tomorrow since it's getting late if it's appropriate for you" mrs.yoshimoto stood up nodding
