"oh my we're just joking" Sera tried to calm down uehara as you and Conan stared at her, she cleared her throat standing up and took out the photos and placed them on a table while uehara inspected them "how strange they're all things that reminds you of the red woman....Huh!? Just this photo, it looks old" you pointed at a specific photo with an extra unfamiliar face, they all directed their attention towards the picture examining it, uehara tapped on the photo before placing her finger on her chin to remember "yah, apparently they took that 12 years ago on that afternoon their classmate disappeared" you inspected it closely noticing something abnormal, you glanced at uehara to see her frowning she crossed her arm's leaning back on the wall
"that's weird, she's wearing a beige cardigan isn't she?" We nodded looking at the picture "when her body was discovered she was wearing a long red coat" in the phot she's wearing a beige cardigan but her body was discovered in a red coat "what!? this is starting to get interesting" you grinned as tamami stared at you a bit frustrated, you took out a note writing a few things before focusing back at them 

"what's wrong with her saying these stuff at this time it's rude" you turned meeting tamami's gaze then winked, she was taken aback startled by your playful behavior whilst uehara stood in the middle of the room clearing her throat "the one who found the knife next to the swamp was inspector Yamato and inspector morofushi, they were still in training at the police academy. They kept arguing about who was the skeleton that was found in the swamp" She kept explaining about what happened, suddenly she got a call, your ears twitched interested at who suddenly cut her off "what?! A reporting error?" Sera tried coming closer as you stopped her, you shook your head with a visible grin plastered on your face "it's better if you wait to watch the upcoming show, it's more interesting if you don't cheat" you ruffled her hair with a gentle smile leaving sera dumbfounded, everything coming out of you is quite unexpected which makes you more interesting, sera grinned placing her hand on her hip "what's the point of exciting when you are the cheat sheet" you both stopped talking after hearing uehara

Uehara yui: "C-carful of what?"

Caller: "you idiot! You don't understand! she's still in the forest!"

Uehara yui: ...oh no the battery's dead.

"Who was that person? What did they say?" Sera got closer to uehara waiting for an answer, she glanced to her side to see you smiling, it seem like she was worried about something but shook it off  "It was inspector Yamato, it's about the police report on the murder 15 years ago. The policeman wrote he was attacked by the red woman and she escaped but she actually threw her knife at him and ran away" sera turned facing you then looked at Conan who had the same expression, a wide grin spread across her face as she clenched her fist excitedly  "that person who killed hakuya. I knew evil spirits...don't exist!"

-after a while-

"I knew it, it was an evil spirit.the ghost of the red woman" sumika started panicking causing everyone to anxiously worry "we don't know, that's true" You started to get pissed from what stupid thing their saying you kept your mouth shut for way too damn long for the sake of you sanity

"Damn never knew holding my anger at stupid people would be that hard💢.
alright everyone ! We already said there is no such thing as spirits so stop panicking... use your damn brain"  They all looked at you in shock as sera patted your back, scaring them off might shake them out of their fearful ass's "Oh dear~she can't handle stupidity well~Huh ?. As y/n said no ones getting killed, well at least not by evil spirits" they all hesitated in fear looking at sera "b-but you don't know who attacked hakuya and sumika right?" You shook your head stepping up with your arms crossed "no, but I do know who killed hakuya in the bathroom" your tone sounding sterner as if you stated a fact, you glanced at sera turning away at Conan, the only thing you were interested in was the killer no one else

"wait-no way is the culprit among us?"Sera nodded and looked at you while you kept on talking to Conan pretending not to notice and ignored her "but there was no problem when ran checked the water temperature when they finished cleaning and came back and found a ton of tomatoes floating in the bathtub and hakuya body in the bottom so the murder must have happened when they left the bathroom to clean it also means that it's non of them" Masumi started explaining how it's impossible to go in only one trip to the bathroom to get all the tomatoes and dumbles without being noticed

Jay: dumbles we're placed on hakuya's body to prevent him from floating

You walked to the table slowly brushing it with your fingers "if the body was already in the water. When ran and the others checked the waters temperature, then there is only one person who could have done it. You glanced at Masumi to continue, there's no way you were butting in to solve the case yourself, but you had to know who sent you the mysterious threatening letter "-yes before you went to check the water temperature, the person cleaning the second floor alone, sumika kawana you could have murdered him" sera pointed at her making you smile clapping your hand together making your way across the room, you held sumika's chin raising it up to meet your gaze with hers "you must also be the sender of that letter, right?~" her pupils started shaking as she tried avoiding your sharp gaze, there's no other than her who could've sent it since she wanted to avoid suspicion, or probably protection, she immediately knew who you were and took the risk "but we heard the vacuum bumping into the wall" ran stated looking at sonoko to assure the truth of her statement "the knocking sound was created by sticking cardboard to ninda's bat hanging it from a column and pointing a rotating fan at the pillar this causes the bat to sway each time by the wind and as a proof there were traces of something sticky left on the bat"

"b-but there wasn't a corpse when we checked the water..." no one would believe sumika is the killer since she had a strong alibi, but it's impossible to have a complete case, there has to be something the killer must've missed and that's what you, sera and Conan know off "the bath was green with bath salts, and you couldn't see anything inside right?"

"yah but there wasn't even a single tomato floating in there" You looked at Conan signaling him that it's his turn  "the tomatoes just weren't floating Y/n took this tomato from the crime scene when you put it in water...look it sinks! They sometimes do this in the produce section at supermarkets right then maybe the tomatoes had sunk to the bottom of the tub so you couldn't see them" Conan looked at ran as she frowned trying to remember something, the answer was at the tip of her tongue yet she couldn't remember "then how did she make them float?" Sonoko asked firmly trying to defend sumika "with salt if you pour in just enough salt to barely keep them from floating, then by adding a little more..." The tomato started floating as Masumi started explaining the next part of the crime as your mind trailed of for a few seconds, ran hit her fist at the palm of her hand finally remembering the supermarkets trick "after we're done I'll call shuichi so we could hang out together I haven't seen him in days"

"just like my sleeves yours got some bath salt on yours as well they probably got wet when you first dumped bath slats in the water and stored them around but it was obvious. Your sleeves were down when we first met anyways I thought you were suspicious at that time as well"

"everyone else thought sera was a boy—" you placed a hand above your mouth shaking Pfffttt!!, all's attention averted to you whilst Masumi glared at your laughing "I'll kill you later no wait I'll let the red woman handle you instead" you apologized to sera and let her continue her work "but you handed her the photos without asking her anything which means you knew sera was a high school girl detective right?" He continued reasoning why she is the murder of the first case
"you were eavesdropping on our
Conversation in the forest" They all looked at sumika questioning if it's true
