It was definitely gin with no doubt, he stared you up and down then back to your eyes "...you haven't changed one bit" you smirked leaning on the wall " I'll take that as a compliment~" he walked closer taking a puff from his cigarette, he had a wide smile as if he had something in mind
Whatever he wanted is something that definitely got to do with you "I heard you've got a son...are you married? Or just a whore?" His eyes trailed down to your hand to check for a ring. You smiled raised your hand as his eyes followed until you pulled up your middle finger. You didn't enjoy such child mannerisms but what's the harm in doing it once in a while "who knows~ if I'm a whore in your eyes then you're a scummy-bitch in mine" he stood unfazed with his cold-blooded eyes still staring into yours. You didn't understand his motive but one thing you know is that he won't let you go...peacefully that easily. Something about his actions are definitely weird but you can't pinpoint it clearly "...seems like I've got called for no reason, I'll get going then" you turned giving him your back about to walk away, as soon as you took the first step he grabbed your wrist and yanked you towards him

You turned your gaze up at him with a frown checking what's wrong with him. "You've been drinking?" The heavy scent of expensive wine still lingering on you. He slowly leaned down to your level whispering in your ear "you know you're not allowed to have a lover..." you shifted your head covering your ear with your shoulder after feeling his breath on your ear

"What does that even mean?. Wether I do or don't...is definitely not your business" he gazed at you with his cold blooded gaze as you walked away, yet once again he yanked you once again but by the waist completely securing you in his grip. You turned your face at him getting slight annoyed "just what is this psycho's problem. can you let go?" He looked down on you without a single change in his expression. He just lightly shook his head head without responding.
You sighted trying to stay calm "get away from me...you've got the smell of blood on you" gin stared at you for a few seconds before releasing his grip from you. He watched you walk away as you stopped looking over your shoulders "...I hope the next time we meet you'd be more frightening" he knew exactly what you meant by that yet all he did was turn and walked away, you knew he wouldn't stop until he gets what he wants and that's something that won't ever happen

You got on your motorcycle wearing your helmet and drove off back home "I'm might be guessing too much but...?!" Your thoughts got cut off by the phone ringing you glanced at your watch to see shuichi was calling. It been a while since he called you since he usually texts you from how busy he is. You answered the call through your headphones "what's up? babe?" It was quite in his end of the call which was unusual

"Y/n, where are you?" You let out a small hum taking a turn  "I'm on my way back home...why?" You could tell he was smiling from his tone

"I'll make it back to dinner today, maybe even earlier~" your expression softened at his words, you couldn't help but laugh, in a matter of seconds you ended the call and arrived back home. You immediately got changed you ordered the maid to dispose your clothes, as she left the room you untied your hair taking off your bra to go take a shower. As you started the shower feeling the warm water trickling down your body the door click open and shut, before you could turn around you felt arms slithering around your waist and immediately knew who it was "...shuichi~ you'll get wet" you raised your gaze smiling at him as he kissed your neck up to your cheeks and lips, he was still in his work clothes and looked tired. Shuichi took a deep breath breathing in your familiar calming scent then stopped and turned you around to face him. His tone was soft yet his eyes weren't "y/n...were you drinking?...and you smell like cigarette" he looks quite surprised which is a rare thing. you immediately knew what exactly he was talking about and you were aware that he knew what's going on so there's no point in hiding anything

You let out a sigh as it echoed in the shower box "there's no need to fuss...I received a message from "that" person...you know the consequences for not answering...and they will affect not just me but my loved ones, I will not risk that" you tried explaining everything in short leaving out what happened
"I had a little drink with father, as for the cigarette...I stopped smoking when I was 24 ish" you didn't want to worry shuichi but you know he wouldn't help but get suspicious because you're hiding a big part of the story "I understand y/n...I really do, it's just...be carful" he's aware of how strong you are yet can't help but worry, he hugged you tightly and lifted you up making your breath hitched startled "what are you doing, shuichi?!" You blushed slightly panicking as he let out a subtle smile. Shuichi gazed into your eyes as his clothes got soaked by water "I'm just helping you out~" your let out a groan knowing what's gonna happen

~while later~

You sat up in bed as a subtle blush spread across your cheeks "you know ,shuichi. You didn't have to go so hard on me" the sun has already set and you were in your pjs applying lotion. Shuichi was on his side of the bed reading a book wearing his reading glasses looking all princely handsome. Your ears suddenly twitched as you heard a knock on the door, you turned your gaze to see keiichi in his pajamas peaking in with rye in his arms. You gestured him to walk in with a smile and patted a spot on the bed for him to sit down "Is there anything you need Keiichi?" You gazed at him with a soft expression wanting to know what has bought him here since it's unusual for him to come in at this time. He sat down gazing at you looking all hesitated and nervous "mum, I'm going out after school tomorrow..." you thought he had something serious to say which confused you even more

You let out a chuckle nodding "is that so?You need pocket money or something?" He shook his head then stood up looking at you with his cheeks slightly reddening
He glanced at shuichi then at you "no...just taking permission" you smiled nodding and quickly glanced at shuichi who had the same expression as yours then looked back at Keiichi. You had a hunch to why he's taking permission when you allowed him almost everything "once you're done with your outing come and tell us everything" his expression turned softer as he nodded then got out with rye following him out. You tucked yourself into bed laying down whilst letting out a yawn "i think he's finally found someone he likes" you chuckled looking at shuichi. He took off his reading glasses and focused his sharp gaze on you

Shuichi placed the book on the nightstand then turned over facing you as he pulled your closer "why are you excited over a teenage boy's puppy love?" you raised a brow and reached out your hands pinching the bridge of his nose frowning "that "teenage boy" is my son you fool" it's been a while since you had time to joke around and converse with shuichi, and he must be thinking the same thing with that expression. You suddenly stopped frowning  remembering you had something important "hey, shuichi. Are they aware that you're alive?" He pondered for a moment as if he's thinking for a suitable and perfect answer "It's a bit hard to answer but all I can say is that it's definitely more than a hunch" your expression darkens knowing all the possible consequences yet kept quiet. Being shuichi's spouse isn't the easiest thing, not to yourself nor to your heart Shuichi seems to notice your expression knowing what exactly what's on your mind
