Young girl, don't let yourself cry,
It's not your fault why things grew awry.
Young girl sometimes happy ending, was not you would be imagining,
For what's the true meaning of happiness, when it only ends in sadness?
Young girl, you're free to write your own story,
Don't let the past heartaches add up to your misery.
Take chances, take the adventure but be smart,
It's not selfish to keep a part of your heart.
Young girl, hold your vulnerable heart in your hand gently,
For Princes and a true love's kiss doesn't exists in this reality.
In your reality, even Princesses can carry a sword valiantly,
For they're not just some damsel in distress who'll sit and wait for their rescue unknowingly.
Young girl be strong and stand up tall,
Against all odds you'll find your "call".
Don't let anyone take your weakness for granted,
Don't let anyone invalidate your worth, as if you're unwanted.
Yet little girl, will these even matter? Thinking you're so high and mighty.
When someone proved you wrong, will you dare to believe in your reality?
That you can let your guard down and depend on someone that can share your pain?
Young girl if you find your safe haven, then there you'll remain.
