I hate to say goodbye
I could hardly lie
As tears fall from these eyes
Seeing you walking away.

I've set these thoughts free
I've waited years to make you see
But in the end, it's a fight I can't win,
Maybe we're not meant to be.

I do know it hurts the crying heart
The past even haunts me over you
I must let to control what I feel
These thoughts that once lived with you

Let this be the lesson
We might not be for each other
But time still walks on and on
Might as well see each other at the end of the road

Chances dissolve like a spark,
But goodbyes will never tear us apart.
From the place where it all began,
At the playground where memories of us will always remain.
