I watched as a hundred or so students ran around the width of the field, panting heavily. Laken chuckled softly, as a girl slipped on the mud and went crashing to the floor; causing a domino effect and taking down about five others with her.

The winning team who had come first, had decided that it was a brilliant idea to make the losers run five laps of the large field; at one in the morning, and I was here for it.

They had also chosen that at the end of the week, the whole school would get to go to a theme park in the next town over. Cheers had echoed miles out, once everyone had gotten a whiff of it and I couldn't lie that I wasn't excited.

"Let's head to bed, you mischiefs."

We broke away from the crowd of students, heading back to our camp. A flurry of students followed as people slowly left the show and headed for a good nights sleep.

With a quick goodnight, I separated from the boys and headed to my tent.

Apparently, boys and girls weren't allowed to bunk together so I was sharing a tent with Liliane and Sophianna. I wasn't one for rules but I didn't mind bunking with the girls and accepted it, much to Hendrix's dismay.

I opened up the zip and got inside before zipping it back up. I was greeted with loud hello's and large smiles before I was ushered into my blanket and thrusted into a conversation.

I smiled, interested in the topics that came up and I snuggled into the blanket as a howl came from the wind outside.

I was definitely glad that we hadn't lost.

I groaned, shuffling in the cold air. I pulled the blanket closer, tangling my legs in the soft material.

I grunted when another ping came from somewhere underneath my pillow. Ducking my head under the blanket, I tried to preserve my sleep to the best of my abilities.

An arm landed on my hip, swatting me as another alert came from my phone. I made no noise, earning another swat. "Answer the damn thing." Sophianna moaned as she left her arm resting on my hip.

I didn't move, listening as my phone pinged again. I huffed, shooting my eyes open and roughly letting my head out of the thick blanket.

I blinked, adjusting to the dark and could feel the chilly air wrap itself around me.

I glanced beside me to see that Sophianna had gone back to sleep, sleeping soundly. I reached behind my pillow, blindly searching for the phone until my hand made contact with it. The tent went eerily silent as I opened up my phone; no more notifications hitting it. I grunted in annoyance, letting my eyes wandering over the unknown contact. I pressed on it and my eyes flew open, all sleep erased from my mind.

Without a seconds guess, I quickly moved Sophianna's hand off, gently, before hurriedly getting up. I untangled my legs from the blanket, almost tripping a few times before I made it and stuffed my feet into my shoes. I grabbed Bentley's jumper at the last second, stuffing it on as I rushed to get out of the tent.
