Who we need to be to survive. (Emily Gilbert pt. 2)

Is it just me? Do I do something wrong? I know I'm difficult and stubborn and sometimes annoying but why do people always leave me. And they don't just leave...they go to Elena. I try to be strong and I try to be myself and yet it's still not enough they still leave. Damon left for Elena and somehow became a complete dick, Stefan promised he would always stand by me and the moment he had to choose he picked Elena and he was the last person I had. But enough of this, right now I just finished packing the last of my stuff at the boarding house and I also stashed a few blood bags into my suitcase.

I zip up my two suitcases and walk them downstairs. I found a really nice house and between the money I made and saved during my time in New Orleans plus my collage fund because I'm probably not going to college and if I do I go to school enough to still get some kind of scholarship and if not there's still compulsion. But anyways between that money I found a really nice house Right here in Mystic Falls. Stefan and Damon don't know I'm leaving and I guess they'll notice at some point but I open the door and smile when I see Elijah.

"Morning. Just in time." I announce and he takes one of my bags. "You said you needed my help." He states and I nod. "Yeah...but this isn't what I need help with." I keep up my smile and he arches an eyebrow at me. "Please tell me this isn't one of your Emmy plans." He pleads and my smile widens. "Fine I won't tell you..."

He takes the suitcase and walks with it to his car and I follow with the second one. After I pack my bags into his car I sit in the passenger seat next to him.

"What do you need?" He questions as we drive. "Well...I need you to help me kill myself." I simply say and he mashes the breaks stopping the car suddenly. "I would prefer not to die right now." I shoot a tight smile at him and he still doesn't continue driving and he watches me like I'm crazy. "I'm not crazy." I defend. "More like suicidal." He states. "I'm not suicidal either....it's a long story." I breathe out.

"Explain before you're the first vampire to be locked in a mental hospital." He urges and I roll my eyes. "I'll explain when we get where we're going." I say and he looks at me skeptically but he starts back driving. "Turn left here and then turn right." I tell him. Ha I could work for google maps or wayz.

About five minutes later we pull up to the house and park in the driveway. "How'd you afford this?" He asks looking at the house.

"My sugar daddy payed for it." I say and he furrows his eyebrows at me. "I used my saved money and a small tiny amount of compulsion." I explain.  "I didn't compell her to give me the house for free." I defend. "I payed the first half and I said I would pay the rest." I shrug innocently.

The outside of the house is spacy. It has a huge ass pool and a lot of yard space and even a tire swing. A whole swing. The house isn't as big as the boarding house or Klaus' house but then again I'm not some old ass person so...

"Isn't this so cool!" I announce walking inside. "My own freaking house." I continue.

"I believe you have some explaining to do." Elijah says walking in after me. "Oh shit yeah I forgot about that." I reply remembering. God the inside of this house is amazing. The whole interior is white and as soon as you enter there's a huge ass living room with a huge ass couch and tv and I didn't see the bedrooms yet. There's two bedrooms but I guess when you tell your friend that you're going to kill yourself, they might need an explanation.

I walk into the kitchen and hop up to sit on the counter and Elijah sits on one of the chairs.

"Okay...first I need you to swear that you won't tell anyone,I need your word." I warn. He takes a little while as if he's studying me and then he agrees. "If it's logical then you have my word." He says. "Okay good enough."
