I knock on Alaric's apartment door. He was discharged this morning. "Morning sunshine." Damon greets opening the door slightly. The hell is he up to?

"How's Ric?" I ask subtly trying to look around him to see what's going on inside. As I listen I hear two sets of breathing. "I knew you and Ric were close but not orgy close..." I say arching an eyebrow at him and he smirks with a sigh. "Well you know us... so what you got there?" He dodges looking at the container in my hand.

"Who else is in there?"

"It's Stefan....if Ric goes psycho I can't put him down by myself." He lies but I let it go. I can always tell when Damon is lying.

"But Ric's fine?" I ensure and he hums. I tilt my head at him. "So no issues?"

"Slept like a baby, woke up Alaric. No head minds about dead Council members."

"Okay...Elena sent this for Ric." I hold up the container and he takes it before opening it. "Ooo, chocolate muffins."

"As I said, it's for Ric." I repeat and he rolls his eyes. "Fine keep pretending you hate me." He shrugs. "Okay either give him or don't." I give up turning to walk off. "Emily I meant what I said yesterday." He informs. "I meant what I said too." And the quick glance over my shoulder allows me to see the defeated look that flashes on his face but then it's gone and he closes the door and I walk back to my car.

After a five minute drive I pull into my driveway and park my car. "Izzy? You ready?!" I yell walking into the house. Something feels weird so I freeze in my spot and focus on my surroundings but before I could even do anything, the door slams. "So which room is mine?" The familiar voice asks and I can just hear the smirk. I whip my body around and them breathe in relief as I see Klaus. "Fuck you scared me." I breathe out. "Sorry about that love."

I turn and walk further into my house and stop at the kitchen before picking out a blood bag. "What are you doing here Nik?" I ask before sitting up on the counter top sipping on my bloodbag. "Is it so hard to believe that I just wanted to see you?" He tilts his head now standing right in front of me making me roll my eyes. "Good you've seen me but Isabelle will be back any second..." I dismiss and butterflies flood my stomach when he brushes my cheek with is finger. I rest my blood bag on the counter as his face grows closer to mine until our lips are only inches apart. Stay strong Emmy. Oh who am I kidding. I lean forward kissing him and it feels like it lasts forever. It's the same feeling I got earlier with all the emotions rushing in like the guilt but then something just feels right about this and it overcomes everything.....until he pulls away and I cross my arms at him which he smirks at. "You know....you're cute when you're all pouty." He chuckles which I roll my eyes at. "Your an ass." A tell him but that doesn't make his adorable smile faulter. It's not his usual mischievous smile or one pf arrogance, it's a pure smile of happiness and it's adorable. Oh god what is wrong with me.

"Sorry to cut my visit short but I have to go meet my siblings now." He pulls further back and I hop off of the counter. "Oh good luck with that." I offer and he looks at me while walking backwards towards the door. "See you later Emmy." He dismisses before walking to the door. What the hell am I doing?

Surprisingly Izzy didn't get home until like an hour after Klaus left and now we're on our way to the cave. According to Alec, the true immortal weapon is in the cave where Damon once put Klaus coffins.

"So Eileen's in town?" She breathes out looking over at me as I drive. I hum nodding mu head. "You saw her?" She questions. "No..." I trail and then sigh. "Damon told me." I quickly add slightly hoping that she didn't hear. All hope of that is broken when she scoffs. "You're trusting Damon on this?"
