Chapter 11 - The Iris Message

Artemis POV

I instantly took out her bow and shot the giant in the face. I realized it was Orion and nearly yelped. Orion was powerful. He wasn't easy to beat , especially without her hunters. With blinding speed Orion came up to me and tried smacking me with the bow.

I quickly blocked it with my own and took out my hunting knives. With the little time I had been with Percy , my sword play had gone up by 100% and I was twice as good as before. I though this would be a decent fight and I would win in about a minute. What I didn't know was that Orion had also increased his fighting skills by 100%.

I attacked and we where parrying and stabbing trying to make a the first hit until I feinted a left strike and striked  Orion on the right , but Orion somehow anticipated the move , and pushed me back with his new Stygian iron sword he now held.

I was shocked to say the least. He moved again with speed that shouldn't have been possible for a giant. Sure it wasn't as fast as Percy...But still it was really fast for a giant.

Before you could say 'Once upon a time there was a' Orion reached me and grabbed me by throat he began holding with one hand and moving his hands to my legs. Before I could do anything and Iris message appeared and...

I couldn't believe my eyes. IT WAS PERCY. He was somewhere where there was a red sky and blood red clouds. There was also tons of monsters in the surrounding. The ground was also black. Before I could figure out where he was , he shouted.

"ORION! WHAT IN THE HADES ARE YOU DONG THERE! WHY IS ARTEMIS THERE AS WELL! YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WITH A GIRL! ESPECIALLY ARTEMIS! You can get your revenge later. NOW it's time for practice." He shouting very loud.

Thousands of questions crossed my mind the biggest ones. Why would Orion listen to percy. What did he mean by practice , was he teaming with the giants and did he turn evil? Also why did he call me 'girl'. That was very rude.

After that he instantly dropped me and hissed "Fine but today your going to get tortured a lot more by me for ruining my fun." He said looking at me.

He quickly vanished and reappeared behind Percy. Before I could say anything , he instantly turned around and parried the Orion's attacks. He quickly struck with blinding speed and power that shouldn't have been possible for anyone. He then drove his blade through Orion's heart and defeated him.

I stared at him awestruck...Actually that would have been an understatement. There are no words for what look I had on my face. He had literally killed Orion in less then 10 seconds. WHAT!!!

He quickly cut through the Iris message and before the IM disappeared I saw him vanish in a black poof.

I was thinking to myself lot's of things and wanted to see him again sooo badly when another IM appeared. This time Percy had a smile on his face.

"Where are you? What are you doing? Why haven't you come back? Are you evil now? Also how did you defeat Orion so quickly , especially since he improved?Why did you not answer my Iri-" I throwing questions at him like there's no tomorrow before he interrupted.

"Wo wo wo wo , chill Artemis. I have so many questions that need to be answered but so little time." He said sighing.

"Then answer fast," I replied.

"Hmm ok. I am in Tartarus an-" He said before i interrupted him.

"WAIT WHAT! WHY WOULD YOU GO TO THAT TREACHEROUS PLACE! THATS SO STU-" I Yelled at him for being an idiot like always.

"I know I know stupid , but if you keep on interrupting me we won't have much time. He'll be here soon." Percy answered.

"Who's h-" I asked before clamping my mouth shut. I internally sighed. I was not good at keeping my mouth shut. probably cause I haven't seen him in a long time and that I had sooo many questions.
