After a common shitty past Josette Kane stumbles upon the infamous Rudy Pankow.
Her vulnerable yet short temper catches Rudys attention however she feels repulsed by the typical 'famous boy' stereotype.
After their worlds somehow collide together...
"Dad?! What are you doing here?!" I practically launch myself into his arms. I can't believe he's here, I wasn't supposed to see him for at least another few months. I didnt think this day could possibly get any better.
"How could I ever miss my little girl getting engaged?" I pull back from him planting a kiss on his cheek. I am so lucky to have all of these amazing people around me.
"How is this even possible? I thought you had things to sort out with mum?" He gives me a knowing smile before he shifts his eyes behind me as I feel a presence approach me and I instantly know what my dad is gesturing to. I turn towards the presence and a hand is placed on the small of my back making me smile.
"Rudy you did this? All of this?" I didn't think my love for this man could possibly grow any stronger yet it has. Rudy does so much for me and from everything that he's done for me here I know I made the right choice in saying yes to marry him. I lean further into Rudy's chest and he places a kiss upon my head making me smile.
"He called me, asked for my permission and offered me the first flights here. How could I ever say no? And all of this stuff with your mum, that can wait. What's more important is you darling" he pats Rudy on the back before moving to talk with Dylan. Knowing that Rudy went as far as asking my dad for permission to marry me makes me fall in love with him even deeper.
"I love you Rudy Pankow" I smile up to him placing a firm and passionate kiss to his lips which he happily returns.
"And I love you soon to be Mrs Pankow" my heart literally skips a beat at the thought of being his wife soon. There is nothing that I want more than to wake up to this man every single day of my life and be able to call him my husband. Our little bubble is cut short by no one other than Madelyn running towards me with big open arms squealing in happiness and excitement. The sight makes me chuckle and she comes crashing towards me.
"JoJo I'm so happy for you, you're going to be the most beautiful bride!!!!" She pulls away from our hug and grabs my hand instantly expecting the ring. To the side of me Rudy is being congratulated by the boys which makes me smile.
"Thanks Mads, I'm still in shock about it all to be honest" before she can reply Maddison, Carlacia and much to my surprise Elaine approach us.
"Congratulations Josie!" Maddison and Carlacia do just as Madelyn did and stand their gushing about how beautiful the ring is before moving towards Rudy. My attention is pulled away by a light hand being placed on my arm.
"Hey Josie, I just wanted to say that I'm really happy for you both. You're perfect for each other and you deserve the best, you both do" Elaine's words almost knock me off of my feet and I didn't realise that her sincerity would mean so much to me.
"Thank you Elaine, that really does mean a lot to me and I'm sure it means a lot to Rudy as well" I pull her into a light hug and finally everything feels as if it's fallen into place in my life. All we are waiting for now is this baby girl to arrive.
"Can we go to where the food and drinks are now? We need to celebrate the happy couple" Drew's loud voice overpowers everyone else's making us all laugh. Elaine steps away to go find Dylan and Rudy comes over slinging his arm around my shoulders.
"There is food and drinks?" The excitement is laced through my voice and Rudy chuckles pulling me along around another set of rocks to where there are small tables filled with various foods and drinks and blankets on the floor for people to sit on.
"Rudy all of this is so perfect" I look up to him admiring how perfect he looks.
"This part was actually Madelyn's idea, I wasn't sure you were going to say yes so I didn't want to set up any celebrations but she insisted and said she knew that you'd say yes" I laugh and now thinking about it, all of this was actually quite risky but it's perfect.
"Hey, I knew my baby mama would need her food after all of these emotions" Madelyn grabs my arm and pulls me away. She does know me very well. All of this crying and emotions have made me extremely hungry. "No we haveeeee to take some engagement photos because you look gorgeous" I want to protest that I look horrible but I know that Madelyn wasn't going to be taking no for an answer. She snaps and few pictures before leading me back over towards everyone else and I make my way towards my dad. I've missed him so much and him being here means the world to me, I'm so thankful to have him present on my life again especially for such an important day like this.
"Thank you for being here dad, it really does mean so much to me" we stand at the edge of the water looking out to sea and he places his arm around my shoulder as I rest my head on him.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world Josie. I want you to know how proud I am of you, you've made such an incredible life for yourself and you're going to make such a good mother to this little girl Josie. I have no doubt about that. Just make sure to keep that man close to you because he's a good one" I smile at his words and he's so right about Rudy, he's a good man and I'm so so lucky to have him.
