After a common shitty past Josette Kane stumbles upon the infamous Rudy Pankow.
Her vulnerable yet short temper catches Rudys attention however she feels repulsed by the typical 'famous boy' stereotype.
After their worlds somehow collide together...
I had been here in LA for two weeks and everything was going great. Despite there being so many people I actually really really liked it here. The first week of being here was busy for Rudy with multiple non stop interviews and photo shoots, unfortunately this meant that we didn't have much quality time together. The time together that we had was only really at night and we mainly spent it watching movies and cuddling. My days were spent exploring or hanging out with Drew and Austin considering they didn't have as many interviews to attend to as the others. Today was Friday and we only had around two weeks until it was Christmas. The conversation of when I would be leaving still hadn't come up.
"Hey babe! My shoot for tonight has been cancelled so we can hang out!" Rudy runs into the lounge where I'm laid grinning. I smile at him tiredly "That's great babe, what's the plan then?" He flops onto the sofa next so me and lifts my legs to place then onto his lap.
"Well everyone has the night off and have been trying to arrange a dinner together. Would you like to go?" I nod at him as I sit up yawning.
"Sure, what sort of time?" He tells me that I have about an hour to get ready and I start doing so. I put on blue denim jeans and a plain white t-shirt, feeling a little bit cold I find one of Rudy's zip up jumpers from his closet and chuck it on. My makeup is very light and my hair is down and straightened (picture shown but imagine her blonde) I shuffle out of the bedroom going to find Rudy and once again yawning.
"Wow babe you really are tired today. You were tossing and turning all night, are you okay?" Rudy pulls me into a hug and I rest my head on his chest snuggling into him. "Yea I didn't really sleep too well last night" he frowns at me and I wave him off letting him know that I'm okay.
"Babe if you're too tired then you need to tell me right away and we will come straight home okay! We don't even need to go, we can just stay and have a night in if you'd like?" His voice is laced with concern as we leave the apartment and walk towards the car. "It's fine okay I promise. I'm actually excited to get out and see everyone. It's been ages" he sighs in defeat and we climb into the car and drive to the restaurant.
When we pull up we see Maddison, JD, Chase and Madelyn standing in the carpark chatting. Rudy helps me out of the car like usual and we approach them. "Come on the others are waiting inside" we follow along before approaching everyone else who are sitting at the table and sit with them. The first few minutes they spend discussing some of the interviews that they had and although I'm left out of the conversation because I'm not apart of the show, it actually makes me feel so happy and overwhelmed seeing how happy and proud of their work my friends are. Their happiness means the world to me and it's all I've ever wanted for them.
"So Josie how are you liking it here in LA?" JD grabs my attention and I smile at him. "I'm honestly loving it here, I'm not sure I'm going to want to go back home to Charleston" I chuckle with a hint of honestly in my words.
"Well I vote that you should just stay here with us forever" Madelyn exclaims and throws her arms around me from where she is seated beside me. I laugh and return the hug.
The rest of the evening is spent by everyone joking around and just having fun. As we were all getting ready to say goodbye my phone starts ringing, I pull it out and furrow my eyebrows at the name of who was calling me. My sister. I groan putting my phone to my ear and walk across the carpark away from my group of friends.
"Hello Elizabeth"
"Josie why am I seeing you on the Rudy Pankow's instagram?"
"Oh are you? Well how strange, it must be someone else"
"Josie I know that is you, you aren't tagged but I know it's you!"
"Nope I'm not sure what you're on about sorry Lizzie"
"Are you dating him? Omg you totally are! What the hell does he see in you?!"
"Goodbye now Lizzie"
I hang up and pull up Instagram to see what she was on about.

I turn my phone off and shove it into my pocket and walk over to the car where Rudy is waiting for me, the others must've gone home already. Rudy stands at the car waiting for me and I walk over to him and basically fling myself into his arms just needing the feel of him and his comfort. He wraps his arms around me immediately, I can hear him talking but I block him out to just focus on the rhythmic sound of his heart beating.
"Josie? Baby are you okay? Josie?" I look up at him with exhaustion written all over my face.
"Your fans hate me and my sister pisses me off" he takes my face in his hand and runs his thumbs over my cheeks. "Josie if people are hating on you then they are not my fans. My fans are the people who respect me and the people I love. Now let's get home and you can tell me all about what is happening with your sister okay? You are exhausted and I need to get you home" I nod and silently hop into the car.
On the ride home my eyes feel heavy and before I know it I'm drifting off to sleep.
I feel arms slip underneath me lifting me from the car and as much as I want to awake and walk myself my body defeats me. I feel myself being placed down on to a soft surface and blankets pulled over my body.
"Sweet dreams beautiful" I feel Rudy's lips press to my head and much to my disappointment his body doesn't join me in the bed. Figuring that he is just going to watch tv I let sleep take over my body.
