Hi everyone! I am your average teen girl whose life has just turned around for the better. I got a scholarship to the best of high schools where I can easily hone my talents and excel to the best of my limits. I am so excited and terrified for my first day. Excited because well, it is the best school after all and I would love to meet all the teachers and make an awesome first impression. However, I am terrified too, because I am really not an extrovert and it takes me a long time to make new friends, I am all chill if someone else takes the first step but otherwise not at all. Here's to hoping to have a fulfilling first day!
I excitedly make my way to the bus stop and sit on the only empty seat, besides a very cheery, bubbly and absolutely beautiful girl.
"Hi! Are you new here? What's your name?", she asks.
"Hey! I am Chae Seon Ra. I just got enrolled here. What's your name?"
"Well, nice to meet you Seon Ra! I am Kang Won Ae. Why did you enroll in the middle of the year? Isn't it a bit late?"
"I actually just got a scholarship; it was very expensive for me otherwise."
"Welcome then. You just made a new friend. I am also our class president, so don't worry I will show you around."
"Thank you so much Won Ae-ssi, I really appreciate your help!!!"
"No problem! It will be fun having you around."
I half sleep on the way to the school and walk with my new friend to the class. On our way, I hear a girl sobbing in the corridor. And a guy shouting at her. What a jerk. I try to ignore it, not my business anyways, I should not involve myself on my first day. That is the logical thing to do. But she is sobbing so loudly, I really can't ignore it. Aish! This jerk. I start to make my way towards him when I was stopped by Kang Won Ae.
"Don't involve yourself. It is not worth getting on his bad side especially on the first day.", she warns me.
"I was never really a logical person Won Ae-ssi."
I make my way to the sobbing girl despite my friend's repeated protests.
