What is she doing here!? I came here to have some fun... but look at her. *gulps.
Even after I break away the eye contact, I spend a few minutes more looking at her. I knew she was beautiful... but... I didn't know... she could look this... sensational.
There is a lengthy awkward silence surrounding us all.
"Come and sit. Yoongi invited you, I invited her. So, sit.", says Ryujin through her teeth.
Threatening much? It was threatening as hell.
"Nice to see you three! We all should have had a get together long time back!", says Hoseok hyung smoothing things over.
I pray that I can keep a poker face.
Soon, everyone kind of starts chatting with each other... Ryujin with Yoongi and Hoseok hyung, Jin and Namjoon hyung and Jimina and Jungkookie... the only ones left are... me and her.
She is busy awkwardly twirling the straw in her drink as she continues to stare at the water droplets forming around her glass.
"So, Seon Ra-ssi, how is life treating you these days?", asks Jungkookie with a smug look.
Nobody is angrier at their noona than Jimina and Jungkookie. Honestly, she deserves it.
"Same old, same old. What about you Jungkook?", she responds with a small smile.
She doesn't call him Jungkooka. I think she knows where we all stand.
"Oh, nothing much, just busy finding my bro right here, another better girlfriend. One who won't dump him in 30 seconds, nothing much really.", he says pointing at me.
It'd be fun to see how this one pans out.
"Hmm. I'd expect nothing less from the greatest younger brother.", she says smiling but I know Jungkookie's words hit home.
Jungkookie doesn't poke any further.
"Taehyunga, tell us something about this new girlfriend of yours, the one with whom you were making out in front of the lockers.", asks Jimina.
"She's amazing. Way less dramatic than my previous one.", I say.
"What do you think about his new girlfriend Seon Ra-ssi?", asks Jimina.
"I don't think it's necessary for me to have an opinion on that.", she says giving him a small smile.
Someone is patient today. Where is the fun in that though?
"She's definitely prettier, smarter, and over all better than you, don't you think? It's definitely an upgrade.", say Jimina provoking her.
