Chapter 20

Chae Seon Ra

It has been three days since we have been preparing for this project. Up till now, all we have done is go sit in a corner, all by ourselves, individually, and work on some stuff. I have written some compositions, hopefully they are good enough.

There were a lot of people so we have decided to make 3 songs in total.

Today is the day we actually collaborate and discuss. I am super charged up and ready to slay this thing. I have been so busy that I haven't really have had any time to think about anything else. Plus, I got to use my emotions to write some amazing stuff. The people from the singing workshop should be arriving any minute now.

Here they are.

"Alright everyone! I know you all must have prepared some amazing stuff, so let's check that out and get down to business. I would like you all to separate in two groups: group 1 for those who wrote for the rappers and group 2 for those who wrote for the vocalists. Likewise, for the singing workshop people.", says Namjoon hyung with the most charming smile.

The entire room divides into two groups.

"Now, according to the three themes decided: love, hate and desire, we will compose portions for the 3 songs.", says Jin hyung.

I have written a composition for all three. Hopefully, my work gets selected for at least one.

The vocalist group is relatively small. Just a handful of people. Good for me.

"Let us start with the lyrics first for the theme love. Everyone, pass around your lyrics and then we will vote.", says Jin hyung to the vocal group.

So, I do just that. There are like 5-6 compositions.

"Wow this one is just a load of crap.", says Taehyung smirking and even without looking I know that that composition is mine.

I know that he hates me, and I do too, but this hurts really bad. I literally cried in front of him when my lyrics were called awful... and he does this. But I guess its fine. Who cares anyway?

Everyone has read it and the voting has begun.

The first three compositions get one vote each. The fourth one gets three votes. The fifth one gets two and the last one (mine) gets ten votes.

I am beyond happy. This is the first time in this entire 9 days since I have been here that I feel like I belong here.

"If you all are selecting this, then I am honestly thinking of quitting. This is such an overdramatic composition!", says Taehyung.

That's it.

"Then quit.", I say through clenched teeth.

"What did you say?", he asks annoyed.

"Quit. Do you want me to spell it out for you?"

"I think I should. I definitely won't sing these lyrics."

"Enough both of you!", says Jungkook.

"We are going with the voting system, so Seon Ra-ssi's piece is selected.", says Jimina.

He just sits there sulking. Well, I really wish I could punch that face of his.

We all vote for the other two themes too, and for both of them too my composition gets selected. I am beyond ecstatic.

"Fine, then let's move on to turning them into a song. The lyricists can go now, except for Seon Ra. Thank you all for your hard work.", says Jin hyung.
