Flashback

Before they started dating, on the 4 AM drive:

"So, what are your thoughts about prom?", asked Taehyung with curiosity.

"I think it's the best possible ending to our school life. The best part of school life.", said Seon Ra with dreamy eyes.

"Why so? I don't see the appeal."

"While for most people it is about who they go with, I don't feel like that'd be the case for me. It's just the very idea of prom seems magical. A perfect night in a room filled with all the idiots you've come to love and hate over the years, and the magic is such, that we all wish for a happy life for each other, irrespective of our past. We get to dance the last night of our childhood away and get drunk on juice as we dress our best. What is not amazing about prom?"

"Hmm. So, even if it isn't about your plus one, if I... I mean... hypothetically...", Taehyung begins to say as he nervously searches for words to complete his sentence but Seon Ra interrupts him to say," Yes. If you asked me to prom, I'd go with you. Not just hypothetically."

They both look at each other with those dreamy eyes as they forget all about the possibility that their love story might not have a happy ending after all.

"What do you mean you're not going?", I ask bewildered.

"Glad to know you're not deaf.", she says smirking as she begins to leave.

"Did Ms. Seon Ra fail to find herself a date? Don't worry, I'll take you.", says Dong Wook popping out of nowhere.

He is a creep.

"What the fuck are you doing here? Is eavesdropping your new hobby creep?", I say.

"Who are you calling a creep? Last I checked, she asked you to fuck off."

Seon Ra just starts to leave. Huh. Good to know the dramatic bitch is over drama. I'm sorry... I take that back... I just get so angry these days.

"Got nothing to say? You've become such a loser after she dumped your sorry ass.", he says laughing.

If he keeps crossing the lines, he would end up dead. I hope someone has kindly informed him that my leash on my temper these days is barely hanging by a thread.

Chae Seon Ra

"What is this psychotic behavior Dong Wook? It'd be better if you stayed in your limits.", I say rolling my eyes.

"Are you seriously taking his side right now? This jerk?", says Dong Wook.

I'm so done with this shit.

"I don't need a bitch to take my side.", says Taehyung.

I think at least two murders should be pardoned by the law. What say?

"For God's sake, I am not taking anyone's side. I am just politely asking you both to fuck off."

They both just completely ignore me and keep butting heads with each other. I am so not going to be responsible if things go haywire here. And here it goes... Dong Wook lands a solid punch.

Testosterone overload. Ugh. They just keep hitting each other till they are both bloody. It's amusing to watch. Don't judge me.

Ugh fine I'll go stop them. Dong Wook is definitely bloodier than Taehyung.

"Taehyung, enough now.", I say coming in front of Dong Wook.

"I'm getting a weird sense of déjà vu.", he says smirking.
