Patton squealed happily as Roman finished the chapter, both smiling like fools as Patton stood up and jumped around. "Basically the reason he's not telling you about Virgil and Remus is because he's afraid that when he does, you'll have to go back to your professional relationship before he's ready to admit his feelings for you. He wants time to explore these feelings before deciding whether or not things should go back to normal." Roman explained.

"Aww!" Patton replied as he sat back down. "I really love this story, Roman!" He cheered. "Thanks!" Roman replied happily. "Though I noticed that other song wasn't written by you like the other ones." He pointed out. "Yeah, Thomas's fans have used that song for you and Logan a lot so I rewrote it to fit the story. Actually, this next chapter has another song I rewrote for it." Roman explained. "Oh that's so cool! Now hurry up and keep reading!" Patton cheered impatiently. "Alright, next chapter is the ball, so there's a bit of a time skip." Roman cheered before flipping the page and clearing his throat.

"Strictly business, nothing more." Logan whispered to himself as he held the door open for Patton. "What was that Lo?" Patton asked as they entered the ball. It had taken a few days to get there, and Logan had been preparing himself for this moment. However, he still found himself shaking nervously as he took Patton's arm in his and lead him down the halls.

"Nothing, Pat." Logan replied as the song began to change. "Come on! Let's dance!" Patton cheered, pulling Logan onto the dancefloor. 'Oh, my poor soul... Starts flying like a cannonball... What goes up, must come down... Take my advice and run while you still can.' Logan thought along to the music as Patton pulled him in and began dancing.

"Off to the races, got my love jump started! The only one I want is you." Patton sang, knowing the words to the song. "Say that again?" Logan asked, not quite sure he heard the words right. "I hear the bells and the ring and already. Four kids and the big ol' wedding, Singing, You." Patton sang as he placed a hand on Logan's shoulder.

He placed Logan's adjacent hand on his waist before holding Logan's free hand. "Come on Logan, sing with me!" Patton cheered. "And how was I to make a long walk home, You got me feeling like I'm overdosed, Singing, You." Logan sang stiffly. "Hey, don't act surprised. Gold fish wouldn't love you twice, and your vanity, my deep levity, won't take my advic. I never run while I still can." He went on, finding he related to the words as he spun Patton around.

Patton giggled happily. "Off to the races got my love jump started! The only one I want is you! I hear the bells and the ring and already! Four kids and the big ol' wedding! Singing, You." He sang. "And how was I to make a long walk home. You got me feeling like I overdosed, singing, you." Logan sang. "Oh, right, we need to ask around." Patton remembered, blushing as he pulled away from Logan and ventured into the crowd.

Logan watched, feeling his heart race as he watched Logan ask around for his son. "Then my heart starts attacking and the artery is clapping, dropping all the bits and poison, in the morning I was sure that he was sleeping with me... God damn, maybe..." Logan stated along to the beat of the song as he watched Patton get dismissed time and time again.

"What goes up must come down... Take my advice and run while you still..." He sang deeply, taking Patton out of the crowd with a sigh. "Nothing wrong with a little break now and then." He assured Patton with a smile, causing Patton to raise an eyebrow at him before smiling. They danced along to the instrumental, swaying in sink before both singing together when the band started singing again. "Off to the races, got my love jumpstarted. The only one I want is you." They both sang happily. "I hear the bells and the ring and already
