The Audition

Annabeth POV

We heard Percy storm off so we left too. 

"Hello, my dears," Ms. Artemis said. "Welcome to the drama room." 

"Yes! And Haiku! Who want to hear one?" Mr. Apollo asked. 

No on raised their hands. But he said one anyways. 

Welcome to the room
Where drama kids will have fun
I am amazing

Ms. Artemis rolled her eyes. "So, we will be doing 'Beauty and the Beast' this year! You will come prepared with a song in 3 days. You can sing anything. Anything from Beauty and the Beast or just anything in general."

Then, Apollo blurted out another haiku: 

I am Apollo
This is my sis Artemis
I am so awesome

Everyone glanced at each other. Does this teacher have some weird obsession with haiku's or something? 

Artemis just ignored her brother. She gave us a sign up sheet and made us write our names on it. 

Jason passed the list to us and then Ms. Artemis said, "You have to sign up too, my dear." 

Jason shook his head. "Um. No. I'm just here to support my girlfriend," he said, gesturing to Piper. 

"Yes, well you can support your girlfriend on stage," Artemis said. 

"Come on, Sparky. It'll be fun," Piper cooed. 

Leo laughed. "Sucks to be you, Sparky."

Artemis frowned. "You have to do it too, Mr. Valdez." 

He stopped laughing. "What?" 

"Everyone who comes here has to sign up," Apollo explained. 

Leo groaned. 

"Come on, it'll be fun!" Calypso said. 

"Fine. Anything for you, my dear," Leo said, putting his name down. 

Calypso and Artemis grinned. 

"Come on, Jason! It'll be fun!" Piper tried. 

Jason sighed. "Fine. As long as it doesn't clash with my football practice." 

"Yay!" Piper cheered. 

I, of course signed up for Belle. Unfortunately, Drew was there, and she also signed up for Belle. 

Great. Just my luck. Competing for spots against Percy's ex-girlfriend. How fun.
