Chapter 2

You rode in the shopping cart as Tatum and Sidney bought stuff for the party. Tonight was the big Halloween party at Stu's, and you could not be more excited. "Should we get tortilla chips or Doritos?" You heard Sidney ask.

"Uhhhh..why not both?" Tatum asked as she retouched her plump, pink lip stick.

"Oh, okay", Sidney said. As we got up to the checkout line, I decided to get out of the cart and browse the snack isle.

As I got up to the chip section I heard Tatum yell from across the store, "We're leaving Y/n!". You wanted to stay for just a bit.

" I'll catch up with you guys soon!" You yelled back. You went back to browsing for a little, when you felt someone reach their arms around your waist and start to pick you up. You let out a small scream before they put their hand over your mouth and turned you around to face them. It was Billy. "Billy! You scared me half to death!" Billy just chuckles and pats your head.

"Sorry, sweetie. Its spooky season, I had too." You go in for a hug, but he stops you.

"Is there something wro-". Before you get out another word, Billy presses his finger to your lips. He looks up over the short isle stand and you follow his gaze to see Stu and Randy shopping for snacks for tonight. Billy ducks and brings you down with him. You look up at him to see his iconic devilish smirk. You smile and stiffle a laugh as he creeps over to a bag of flour to your left.

He grabs it and creeps back over to you. He opens the bag as the pair get closer.

" Wish me luck, baby doll" he leans in and kisses your forehead. You blush slightly, but brush it off as a friendly gesture. He creeps over to Stu and Randy, bag in hand. As Stu turns around in Billy's direction, Billy sprays the two with the flour. Stu got the majority of it, leaving him speechless. Randy screamed in a high pitched tone as Billy ran over to you, grabbed your hand, and lifted you up over his shoulder.

He ran and from the angle you were at, you could see Stu and Randys red faces. They started to run after you guys, but Billy had a head start. Billy darted out of the store and ran into the parking lot. You got to his truck. He opened the door and set you down. He ran to the other side, out of breath as he opened his door and got in.

Firing up the truck, you got out on the nick of time as Stu came barging out of the door, Randy on his tail. You guys sped away, laughing. You'd never seen Billy this happy. He was usually laid back. Maybe it was something in the Halloween air.

Billy dropped you off at your house at around 5. You got ready and called Tatum to tell her what had happened. She was disappointed that you hadn't gotten ready with her, but understood when you told her the story. She said Sidney had gone home to get ready, and she hadn't heard from her since. You put on your Halloween costume. You were dressed as Carrie.

You slipped on your already bloody pail-pink dress and put on your shoes. You curled your hair and put on some mascara and lip gloss. You grabbed your bag and headed out to wait for Tatum. 30 minutes pass and you decide to text her. She doesn't respond, but pulls up to your house. You get in the car.

" What took you so long? And where's Sidney?" You ask.

"I don't know where Sidney is. I think she ditched or fell asleep. She might already be at the party." Tatum replies. You're silent the rest of the way to Stu's.

When you arrive you get out and look in awe at Stu's huge house.

"Wow Tatum, your boyfriends house is huge." Tatum laughs and walks up to the wooden doors. She knocks and almost immediately Stu opens the doors dramatically, beer in hand.
