"It'll work," the doctor agreed, after I pitched the plan to him. Jeff, Mutt, Mina, the doctor and myself all sat in the boys' office, as I explained my idea for how to "fix" Mina's back.
"It will?!" Mina asked, looking shocked.
"Yes. Your recovery will be slow, but as long as someone's with you at all times, you'll be fine," he smiled at her.
"You'll stay with me right y/n?" She looked over to me pleadingly.
"Why did you even ask," I laughed, "I'd have stayed whether you wanted me to or not,"
The smile painted on her lips was brighter than all the stars in the sky in that moment, and that's when I knew, I would never let this woman go.
