"So, you've made up your mind?" I asked as I was looking at her from upside-down.
We came back home from school 3 hours ago, meaning at 3:00 and IU said that she wanted to have a sleepover at my place today.
So here we are, in my bedroom.
I was laying on my bed while hanging my head off of the bed and IU was too sitting on my study table's chair which was kept next to my bed.
We were just chit-chatting until the topic came to her about confessing to 'The Cold Ass'.
"Yeah." She replied as she rested her chin on her palm, sighing. "You sure?" I asked again, raising my right brow as she nodded her head and came and sat next to me.
"Of course, let's just give a last try." She said as she sighed again and next, she said something which almost made me fall off of the bed.
"And if he doesn't accepts my proposal this last time, I'll move on from him." She said in a low voice, keeping her head low and I instantly sat up before I could fall off.
"What the- the- the heck you're saying!?" I ask in a shocked voice, almost shouting. She nodded.
"So you mean all those 4 months you ran behind him will go to waste!?" I ask her in disbelief.
"I can't forever stay stuck at him. I have a long life ahead, and I can't just waste it because of him." She again said in a low voice, still keeping her head low.
I just sighed listening to her. "You sure you'll be able to move on properly if he doesn't accepts you?"I asked in a worried tone while she was playing wit her fingers. "I don't know..." She replied as a tear dropped on her hand.
I instantly hugged her tightly as soon as I saw her teary eyes and she hugged me back tightly, starting to sob like a child.
"Bubba, I'm already heart-broken from his previous refusals, I can't take it anymore... I don't know what I'll do this time if he rejects me..."She said sobbing loudly, hiccuping as my own eyes turned teary watching my Bestie crying after so long just because of a bastard.
I patted her back comfortingly and spoke as my own voice was coming out shaky. "Don't cry IU, you know I always feel hurt whenever I see you cry, right? Please don't cry.."
I broke the hug and wiped her tears and smiled.
"I'll always be there with you, I'll help you move on if it's needed. But you should always have hope, okay? Now don't be sad."I spoke cupping here cheeks as she grabbed my hands and nodded, smiling weakly.
