Violet POV
The school bell is honestly my favorite noise right now. Friday night was weird. Its weird to know that you were a living, breathing human being for a time period but not remember any of it. It was different when I was in the coma because I was just unconscious but on Friday I interacted with people, with Conner, and I don't even remember any of it. Everyone could be lying to me as far as I was concerned and I would have no idea.
Back to what I was saying in the first place, the bell of the end of the school day on a Monday, this Monday, couldn't have come at a better time. Ive been sitting on the edge of my seat all day thanks to Conner. This morning he was acting especially flirty and while I may not have any problems with that it certainly didn't make focusing on important tasks any easier.
I make my way out to the front door of the school and wait for Ryan to show up. As soon as I reach the doors however my phone vibrates in my pocket and I pull it out. Before I read the text I hear Conner's voice behind me,
"Hey Vi" He says and my stomach flips. I turn around and muster out a smile but my heart is accelerating fast. Dammit Conner.
"Conner!" I chirp and he laughs. His phone vibrates in his pocket and he pulls it out to read it, this reminds me I have an un read text as well and I look down to my phone.
Ryan:
Violet I'm going to Matts after school today so I'll text you later.
"Looks like the losers decided to ditch us" Conner chuckles. I look up to him,
"Matt text you too?" I ask him and he nods,
"Well, no sense in wasting a perfectly good Monday afternoon..." He starts and I raise an eyebrow at him. All of a sudden he gets really uncomfortable and nervous, "Maybe we could go to that Diner up the road together?" He asks awkwardly and I laugh at his nervousness. It eases mine as well,
"Yes. Im definitely down for food right now" I say while laughing and he smiles back as we make our way out the doors.
Ryan POV
"Dude how did you even get these games? They're like crazy popular, Ive been looking for most of these for months now." I gawk at his video game closet in Matt's den. I seriously have no idea how he got some of these. He shrugs and flings himself on to his couch. I try to push away the recent memories I made in this room, which is pretty easy to do considering his huge flat screen.
"I don't know really, I honestly do nothing outside of school so I guess that's the result of it." He says and I sit down on the couch too as he sets up COD. "So why again did you barge into the room with Conner and Violet?" He asks me and I shrug. I really don't like talking about this and he keeps bringing it up. In his defense it probably makes no sense to him why I would do that.
"Like I said dude, she just shouldn't have been saying those things to him, now pass me the green controller." I tell him and he sighs before handing it to me.
"Yeah but can't you just give me a little information about what she was saying? It's just that I don't know anything and Conner just wants to forget that night ever happened" He sighs again as we start the game
"He wants to kill me now I assume?" I ask him half jokingly. Its pretty obvious he is interested in her, subconsciously I knew also that he probably wouldn't like to see anyone else with Violet, especially me at that.
"No I don't think so. To be honest I think he is just as shocked and confused as I am. More confused though, like I said he just has no idea why you did that. Dammit he didn't fucking back me up!" He yells the last part to the screen,
