Ruby's POV
Something fishy is going on with Vanessa.
I saw her in the hallway and she was getting awfully close with Dylan. If that skunk bag thinks that she will end up with Dylan then she must be on a new kind of medicine that isn't legal in the United States. Dylan and Dakota are obviously made for each other and she knows it.
I decided to do a little investigating...
I herd her talking to Tiffany earlier and she was saying that she is meeting Dylan after school so he can "tutor" her in Social Studies. Please! Social Studies is the easiest class this year (especially with this new teacher and all) I HIGHLY doubt that SHE would need help. Unless she was an idiot. I'm pretty sure she is faking all of this.
I found out that they were going to be in the Library here in school. They were sitting at the table all the way in the back. I decided to do some "homework" and listen to their every word.
"So, why was the Cold War CALLED the Cold War?" Dylan asked Vanessa
"Umm...because the war took place in the Winter?" (Idiot.)
"No. But good guess!!! It was called the Cold War because instead of pure violence (Like Mortal Combat) between the U.S and the Soviet Union, threats and harsh words were said." (YESS DYLAN!!!)
"Oh! Good to know!! Umm...let's take a break!" She said as she put her hand over his hand.
UGH!!! THAT BUTTHEAD!!!! SHE IS TRYING TO MAKE A MOVE ON DYLAN!!!!
"Yeah! A break would be perfect. I need to use the restroom. Be right back." Dylan said.
"Ok! Don't be TOO long!!! We still have LOTS of studying to do!!!
*ring ring
Vanessa then answers her phone.
"Hey Tiffany!!
Everything is going great!
I know! I know! It's been FOREVER since we went shopping!!!
(It's been like TWO DAYS!!!)
"I know I don't need these tutoring lessons!! I have a 95 on Social Studies ,but if taking these stupid lessons gets me closer to Dylan which would lead to him falling in love with me and NOT Dakota then all of this is worth it." She whispers into her phone
I KNEW SHE WAS FAKING IT!!!! WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS!?!?
"Ok I got to go!! He is coming back!!!"
*hangs up
THAT...UGH!!! Dakota is going to be SOO MAD!!!
I need to tell her before its TOO LATE!!!
