in these few years working in the k-pop industry, leia has been in countless scandals. one of them was the bullying scandal. there was also an accusation saying that leia acting as homophobic and even sexual scandals involving the members of nct and other idols.

at the early of the year 2021, leia was involved in a bullying scandal alongside other korean celebrities who were caught up in the controversy too. leia was accused to have slapped and threatening students to lend her their money. the accusations were proven with text messages and witnesses.
the truth came out when leia herself explained in a long-handwritten letter. she firstly apologized to those she has hurt and explained that she had never slapped or threatened anyone when she was studying in ewha girls' foreign language high school. a lot of leia's classmates also came forward and defended leia that the accusations are false and she have done nothing.
the person that accused leia however, disappeared from the radar before the fans could catch her or him to apologize to leia personally.
