NCT's LEIA Interview with MTV Push

The female member of NCT conducted an exclusive interview with 'MTV' in the US. On August 1 (US time), MTV, a famous US music broadcaster, praised NCT's LEIA's music and performance. In an interview published on its official website, it highlighted LEIA as the first female artist and soloist of the 'MTV PUSH' campaign.

Previously, LEIA presented a non-stop performance with splendid performance through the 'God is a woman' and 'Boyfriend' performance videos. So, it marked the beginning of the 'MTV PUSH' campaign. Also, she created performances, showing teamwork with her dancers.

MTV said, "LEIA delivers an explosive energy which only LEIA can make with her dancers through her performances. The performances she completes leads the viewers to the ever-expanding world of LEIA."

Regarding the 1st mini-album title song 'God is a woman,' LEIA explained, "I tried to convey the power of woman through the lyrics and music video. It contains the message that we want for all the women who needed motivations."

The 'MTV PUSH' campaign selects an artist every month. For a month, it focuses on global artists through interviews, performances, music videos, and digital content through MTV broadcasts and digital channels.

LEIA achieved a huge breakthrough when her album reached over 2 million sales after the album was fully released.

It makes her the only soloist and female K-Pop artist to record the huge achievement. So, she succeeded in her path this year and set her own best records. Also, the title song 'God is a woman' proved its global popularity by listing on the 'Best Pop Songs of 2022' selected by TIME, a US magazine.
