NCT's LEIA Shares First Post After Appendicitis Surgery

We are so glad that Leia is alright!

NCT member, Leia, had shared her first post on Instagram after she recently underwent appendicitis surgery and tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking to her Instagram story last night, Leia uploaded a heartfelt short letter to her fans saying, "You must have been worried. Don't be. I am doing really fine in the hospital. The doctors and nurses are really kind and friendly towards me. I have also been eating well! Hoping to be back soon! I love you!"

Earlier this week, NCT's agency SM Entertainment had issued a statement on its official Twitter. A part of it read, "Leia experienced sudden abdominal pain along with a mild sore throat on August 11 in the afternoon. She visited a hospital emergency room for a thorough examination, and also took a PCR test. Leia was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and was tested positive for COVID-19. She underwent surgery following physician advice early morning on, August 12."
