The only female member of NCT with her stage name, Leia, has made her first solo comeback since 2020 with an amazing mini-album last week. Adding to that, Leia has also broken and set new records for all female K-Pop artists with her mini-album, God is a woman.
Leia's solo track, God is a woman, has become the most-viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist in 24 hours with a whopping, 92.4 million views.
Guinness World Records was announced on July 12. It knocked the previous titleholder, also a K-Pop female artist, BLACKPINK member, Lisa with her song, "Lalisa" which recorded 73.6 million views.
NCT's Leia's solo comeback has also charted in on Billboard's Hot 100!
On July 17 local time, Billboard announced that "God is a woman", "Position" and "NewRules" had debuted at No. 45, No. 48, and No. 56 on this week's Hot 100, its famous weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States.
According to Billboard, NCT's Leia is the only solo artist to have achieved that high achievement, also knocking down, BLACKPINK's Lisa's "Lalisa" chart which was on No. 84.
