NCT's LEIA Filed Lawsuit Towards SM Entertainment

On 2nd December, the high court of Seoul has informed that currently, NCT's Leia has filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment for terminating her contract without discussion. According to Leia, she only knew about her termination of the contract after SM posted the announcement on social media.

She added that she was never told about her being kicked out of the agency and none of the members of NCT knew about it. All of them were very shocked by the news.

A staff of SM Entertainment revealed to a friend of hers who uploaded their conversation online. The conversation goes like this:

Person A: SM has always mistreated her. I pity her so much. She worked hard for the agency. Suddenly, she was kicked out without any notice. Not even a 24-hour notice. Isn't that too much?

Person B: I know right? She was the one who brought SM back up. She was the one who created AESPA's choreography and none can compare to her. SM really loses a multitalented woman...

Person A: I heard that she was kicked out just because SM had already gained their popularity back and NCT is also already getting popular. LSM said that Leia was added just to gain attention from the public for being a different/unique group.

Person B: Heol~, they are so fcking stupid. I can't imagine Leia's feelings after this.

Person A: And I also heard... Leia was kicked out of NCT too. Just, now, they announce to the public that she's going on hiatus and focusing on solo. But no. I think it's true. She is also kicked out of NCT.

Person B: Heol~, stupid LSM. I hate this agency so much. They never think of their artist's feelings. Assholes.

Person A: Some more, LSM promise extra money to Leia because she sacrificed herself for getting a lot of hate when NCT had just debuted. Until now, I heard Leia even got a loan to keep herself living. SM never pays her properly. Even after producing, songwriting and choreographing. All money goes to the agency. Never to Leia. Maybe there is, but just a little.

Person B: How can they even do that? They are so cruel. Some more, I heard they have a contract with SM, 14 years. What kind of contract is that? 14 years. That's why ex-member EXO also left. Because this company is messed up. They just want money.

The first court session will be on December 23.
