𝗹𝗶𝗹𝘆 , 𝗇𝖼𝗍 𝖺𝖽𝖽𝖾𝖽 𝗆𝖾𝗆𝖻𝖾𝗋

𝗍𝖺𝗌𝗆𝖺𝗇𝗂𝖺 𝗂𝗌 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗉𝖾𝗋𝖿𝖾𝖼𝗍 𝗉𝗅𝖺𝖼𝖾 𝖿𝗈𝗋 𝗏𝖺𝖼𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇

Upon hearing a sound of a car outside the house, I got up from the couch looked out of the window, and smiled when seeing a familiar car plate number.

I walked towards the door and unlocked it. He got out of the car and smiled when seeing me too.

I chuckled softly and tilt my head towards the inside of the house. "Come inside." I said to him and he nodded and motioned for me to go in first. I smiled and entered the house while leaving the door open. He enters the house while I stood near the door with a smile.

"Why?" he asked. I raised my eyebrows, "You asked me why?" I asked him back. He chuckled and grinned as he closes the door behind him and pulls his luggage inside.

He walks to me and pecks my lips gently. I smiled and hugged him, "I missed you." I confess while hugging him tightly. He hugged me back and kisses my cheeks.

"I missed you too," he said while looking at me.

"How was driving? Far?" I asked him and chuckled while placing my arms around his shoulders. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Not really. I'm really surprised by this place. You chose the quietest place to stay in." He said.

I chuckled and grinned. "Let's go upstairs where the room is." I said as I hold his hands.

"Room first?" he smirked. I laughed, "Excuse me?" I responded and he laughed. We head upstairs and he brought his luggage upstairs with us. I showed him the room and he was also surprised.

"This is huge enough," he said.

"It is. Did someone saw you in the airport?" I asked him as I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Sure did. But I don't know if they know who I am or not," he replied.

I scoffed, "Who doesn't know Squid Game?" I asked him.

He laughed softly, "It's fine. I'm pretty sure no one recognized me." He replied as he walk near the window.

"What do you think about the role in Dr. John?" I asked him. He turned to me and grinned, "Why? You're still thinking about it? I've told you; this is your chance to expand your skills." He said while walking towards me.

I exhaled and thinly smiled, "But I'm not actor. I don't communicate a lot. I can't express my feelings." I said to him. He chuckled and stood in front of me, "This is the first time I hear that you're in doubt and hesitation after your therapy." He said. I looked at him and he nodded with a small smile.

"I'm not forcing you of course. It's your choice. But I don't want you to regret later on. Plus, it's me the male lead. You're the female lead. It's the two of us most of the time." He told me.

I hold his hands, "But you gotta promise that you'll help me with it." He chuckled and nodded, "I will. I promise you." I nodded, "Alright then."

"You're gonna accept the offer?" he asked.

I hummed and laughed when he frowns, seeing me still thinking. I grinned, "Okay. I'll text my manager to say that I accept the offer." He nodded with a huge smile on his lips.

"That's my girl," he said before ruffling my hair. I laughed and pushed his hands away, "Aish, my hair!" I exclaimed and he laughed.

"You need to shower. I'll prepare something for lunch. Is simple one okay?" I asked him as I got up from the bed. "Can you cook?" he asked me back.

I shot him a glare and he laughed, "Arraseo. Cook anything you can." He responded.

After having a simple dinner, Ha-joon and I cleaned up the kitchen and dining table together. He washes the dishes while I do the other things. After finishing wiping the table, I went to shower and do my night routine as usual.

After ending my night routine, I took my phone and went downstairs to find Ha-joon seated on the couch while watching a television series on Netflix, on the television.

I sat beside him and placed my head on his shoulders. He then places his head on top of my head too.

I turned on my phone and saw a text message from my sister, Seo-hee. I raised my eyebrows when I read her text.

She texted; Are you back in Australia? Why didn't you tell us? You've forgotten home? You're like Baro now, huh? Did he tell you to not come home anymore? Did he tell bad things about us? We're just trying to protect you from doing crime. Don't be influenced by him.

I showed Ha-joon the text and he also furrowed his eyebrows. Clearly, he was not comfortable with the text message.

"How can she text you like this?" he asked me while holding my phone and looking at me. I sighed and shrugged, "I don't know." I shook my head. He looked back at my phone and read the text again.

"You haven't told them yet?" he asked me with a soft voice while handing me back my phone.

I shook my head while taking the phone, "No."

"When?" he asked me.

"When I'm heading home later," I replied as I turned off my phone.

"You're gonna drop by three first?" he asked and I nodded.

"You're gonna tell them about his death?" he asked me and I replied with a nod.

He took my hand and kissed it, "It's gonna be alright."

I sighed and looked at him, "What am I gonna say? How do I even face them after this huge fight?"

He turned his figure and faced me, "You can plan. Maybe even do a script?"

I chuckled and grinned. He chuckled, "What? I'm serious."

"Well, that doesn't seem to be a bad idea." I told him. He nodded, "It isn't."

"But I'm really-really nervous." I said to him.

"I told you. Write a script," he responded. I pouted and exhaled, "I don't know how. What should I say? What should I wear? How should I act? What if when I go there, they're not home?"

He holds my hands, "Hey, hey, hey, calm down. You're thinking too much at one time. Calm down."

I looked at him and exhaled once more.

"You're really pressured. You still have a lot of time to think about it. For now, just ignore the text and just enjoy what we have right now. You're just gonna mess up your mind if you continue to think about negativity. Now, you're on a vacation. So, enjoy yourself." He said.

I smiled thinly and nodded.

"Enjoy ourselves first," he said while tangling our fingers together.

"Okay..."
