Strength

As Midoriya looked down from the stands he caught a glimpse of momo's face. It was a face of despair, everyday before he met All Might he would have that same look on his face.
It was nothing but a reminder to how weak and useless he was. And Midoriya would be damned if he let momo think of herself as useless or anything of the sort. "Hey guys I'll be right back."

With those quick words Midoriya left the stadium in search of momo. He checked the prep rooms, the hallways near the exits, and even so far as to open the door to the women's restroom to listen for someone, Definitely not one of his proudest moments. He wandered the hallways more pondering the thought that she might of already went home until he heard feint crying coming from the arena hallway.

He peaked over to see momo crouched over crying, he did a sigh of relief knowing that she was still here but mentally fortified his mind. He never really gave someone a prep talk before.

"Hey momo" momo looked up in surprise, she didn't expect anyone to find let alone look for her. She was ashamed in such a loss and didn't even want to show her face. "I know what it feels like." Momo began staring at deku in disbelief how could someone so strong that shined so brightly know this feeling. "It feels as if you hit rock bottom and there's nothing that you can do about it, like your useless to everyone around you and you just can't put up with it. But there's no other choice but to keep moving, to keep getting stronger."

Tears began to leak from her already puffy eyes. She reached out for midoriya's hand like a human reaching out for a god's. "Let's get stronger together okay?" Momo wiped away her lingering tears and looked at midoriya with glistening eyes." Both of them wanted to talk longer but their conversation was cut short after they heard sniffling from behind them.

Kirishima emerged from around the corner tears leaking from his eyes. "Sorry about spying on you guys, it's just that it was just so manly what you said midoriya." That both quickly dropped each other's hands blushing profusely. "I'll keep this a secret for now but the person you really wanna look out for is ashido. She thinks she's some sort of match maker." Deku and momo were silent while kirishima walked past them. "Make sure to watch my match good cause it'll be a sight to see!" Kirishima then walked into the arena.

Midoriya and momo looked at each other for a quick second before looking away. "Why don't we head back to the stands." "Yeah."

While they were walking back they turned the corner just to see none other than endeavor. He stared only at deku not even acknowledging momo. "If all goes well you should be facing shoto in the quarter finals. Midoriya wasn't able to say anything back to him. His throat felt parched and he just couldn't get the words out. "Your quirk is also similar to all mights. This will be the most important test of my creation, try not to disappoint." He started to walk off think that was the end of this one sided conversation.

When deku heard that he started to get tense. Hearing someone talk about their own child like some sort of device just set him off. "I'm not all might." Endeavor and deku turned their heads to look at each other. "Well that's a given you don't compare even ne-" "So that means that todoroki isn't you. So don't push your dreams onto him." After saying that midoriya and momo took their leave back to the stand both of them feeling a death glare from the burning man behind them.

They got back to the stand and sat in their seats "who was Kirishima fighting against again?" Deku asked his class mates. Mina perked up and said, "It was that metal guy with the quirk just like Kirishima's." 'Perfect' Deku looked at the ground he seemed to have been thinking hard about something and momo picked up on this. "What are you thinking about Midoriya?" Deku wanted to tell Momo the truth but he was worried that she would freak out, so he decided to keep it vague for the time being. "I'm thinking of a way to win against todoroki." Momo looked at deku and pursed her lips, she knew that Midoriya wasn't telling the whole story but decided to put her faith in him and ask again later when things weren't so tense.
